I was very pleased with the attention they gave to me and my things. I had no trouble getting my couch, espresso table and decorations neatly packed. Everything was done properly, the labels of each box were checked and the walkways around my house were kept free so I could set up later.
The movers left packing materials, tape, and plastic wraps scattered all over my home. They didn’t bother cleaning up after themselves. I had to spend hours cleaning up the mess they left behind. For the price I paid, I expected them to at least leave my place in decent condition.
My grandmother’s antiques meant the most to me. Swift Shift Van Lines wrapped each piece, carried the glass cabinet gently, and kept talking to us through what they were doing. That gave me peace of mind.

Cannot review Swift Shift for moving services as they are just brokers with good sales people who tell you they are giving you a very good price because otherwise one of their trucks will be heading back to Florida empty, thus you are getting a very good deal, but you need to decide quickly. Then they make you pay 30% non-refundable deposit, which is basically their cut for booking the order. What I mostly hold them responsible for is lying to get your business and then contracting the moving companies who leave customers with long lasting frustration, disappointment, loss of trust in the good and reliable service, and damaged and lost items. In our case it was alphamovingservices.com. Once we signed the contract we were directed to the contracted moving company that told us they have their own rules. The lesson learned if we ever need to move again. But for the starters, my first piece of advice would be to hire small company or private movers who you will directly work with from start to finish and who do not make you pay deposits that are not refundable after 48 hrs of booking. Pay attention to not so bright reviews as I'm very puzzled with how Swift Shift got so many when they are not after all just a broker and not the moving company.
This company tells you what you want to hear & never follows up. Basically after you’ve paid they deliver lip service. I have moved 12 times previously & never had the problems that I encountered with Swift. On my moving day, nothing went right. The movers had not been notified of the updates I had made. I had to leave items behind due to the truck not having enough room. The customer service staff had no answers & made no compensations for the disaster this move was. Do Not waste your money or time with this unprofessional moving company.
Swift Shift Van Lines did an amazing job with my move from an apartment to a townhouse. They gave me a clear quote upfront and stuck to it. There were no hidden fees, and they didn’t try to upsell me on unnecessary services. They were efficient, respectful, and made sure my belongings were handled with care. I had some heavy furniture, but they used the right equipment, like moving dollies and straps, to make sure everything was safely loaded into the truck. The move took less time than expected, and I was so impressed by their professionalism.
William and his group were supportive and experts at their work. They packed and wrapped everything in foam sheets, bubble wrap and cartons of different sizes. I'm very happy to hire them because my move went very smoothly.
I moved last weekend, and these guys did a great job. Three men walked in and started working without me having to explain anything. By noon, everything was settled, and I was ready to unpack.
