This move came during a busy week for me, so I needed things handled without constant follow-up. The crew understood that quickly. After a short walkthrough, they began working and kept things moving at a steady rate. I checked in occasionally, but there was no need to supervise closely. They handled the responsibilities professionally and stayed consistent. The day ended without issues or delays. Based on my experience, I would recommend them to others planning a move.
I needed a few heavy pieces moved into storage during a remodel. The movers wrapped the dining table, carried it carefully, and stacked everything neatly inside the unit so I could still walk around.
There was a point during the move where I thought it might take much longer than planned, but they finished right on time. Swift Shift Van Lines handled everything very efficiently.
From the first query until the final item was unloaded, the transparency and communication were refreshing. The crew was punctual and skilled, and the price was clear. They used shrink wrap and foam to pack my modern gadgets, kitchen appliances, and even a fragile wall mirror faster than expected without sacrificing care.
Right after signing the contract we were funneled off to subcontractors. One in New York and another for delivery in North Carolina. The subcontractors who did the pick up swindled my son out of an additional $363.75 saying more than our 300 cubic feet was used because they couldn't stack boxes on top of furniture. However, when the moving truck arrived in North Carolina, all of the boxes were stacked on furniture in the back of the truck. Second, we paid for packing and unpacking but the guy who delivered was by himself and said he didn't have time to unpack anything. Therefore, we are owed 1/2 of the $300 packing fee.
The packers carefully wrapped and labelled everything, making the unpacking process easier. In this weather, moving from GA to AZ was challenging, but the entire moving crew did an excellent job. Their methodical approach made settling into my new home a breeze.
These guys really helped me out with my move. They got all the boxes moved in pretty quickly and were easy to deal with the whole morning. Would definitely recommend their service.
The Swift Shift Van Lines staff surprised me last week by giving me a freshly painted dining room table. Nothing at all went wrong. Everything went smoothly since I knew what to expect from the moment, I scheduled the job and began receiving emails and messages saying "we are on our way."
I must admit that I was astounded by how meticulous they were. The finished product was magnificent, and it proved to me that they paid close attention to every detail.
