They had clearly marked all of the boxes by room, and unpacking at the new house was surprisingly quick and efficient!
This company tells you what you want to hear & never follows up. Basically after you’ve paid they deliver lip service. I have moved 12 times previously & never had the problems that I encountered with Swift. On my moving day, nothing went right. The movers had not been notified of the updates I had made. I had to leave items behind due to the truck not having enough room. The customer service staff had no answers & made no compensations for the disaster this move was. Do Not waste your money or time with this unprofessional moving company.
Andrew and his unit men worked like well-oiled machines, always in sync and always ready to get the job done. They skillfully navigated my massive sectional sofa via narrow hallways and entrances. My mattress was transported with the utmost care; the movers even provided additional straps to keep it in place on the truck.
I appreciated how Steven & his group took the time to label each box and item clearly, which made it much easier for me to unpack and organize everything once it arrived at my new home. They used markers to indicate which room each box belonged to, and what items were inside. They also provided me with a detailed inventory list, which helped me keep track of everything and make sure that nothing was lost or misplaced.
The move took four hours total from start to finish. I had a three hour window estimated so they were a little over, but I did not mind because they were careful the whole time.
The move from my old apartment went better than I expected. The team from Swift Shift Van Lines showed up ready and kept things steady the whole time. They took care of my stuff and stayed polite through it all. All the belongings made it to the new place without a problem. I liked how simple they made the process. I’d call them again next time without hesitation.
