Swift Shift Van Lines saved the day during our last-minute relocation to the countryside. When our original movers canceled, they stepped in immediately. Their team packed, loaded, and delivered everything within 4 days. Nothing was damaged upon arrival. We couldn’t have asked for more!
They never missed a beat, were really courteous, and noticed the tiniest details. My belongings were loaded into the van in a timely and cautious manner.
We moved a couple blocks away from our current place, and this company’s movers were fantastic from start to finish. They were friendly, careful, and quick! We had a few fragile items, and were concerned they might get damaged, but everything was handled carefully and arrived in perfect condition. We couldn’t have asked for a better moving experience!
Mixed feelings. The SSV are brokers. We were quoted a price. the moving company they hired were rated 1 star and demanded more money than quoted and refused to deliver some pieces of furniture. The delivery dates quoted by SSV were 5-10 days. The movers they hired stated 7-10 business days the actually delivery time was 16 business days. The boxes were not securely stored as when they were delivered some boxes were torn, massive holes where items were spilling out, a gross liquid spilled over 5. The men packing up and delivering were different. The delivery people were nice, quick and didn't try to scam more money out of us like the pick up crew did. I feel betrayed about all moving companies from this experience. Good luck to everyone who uses this company and I suggest finding out who they hire as movers before signing so you do not get a low rate mover through this broker.
Michael and his team were the most movers! I needed to make a last-minute change to my plans, and they came through for me, no problem. Their arrangements and care in packing were very careful and orderly, and I felt confident that my things were safe in their hands, arriving on time and undamaged.
I paid for $4000 for 800 cubic square feet and they only allowed me 640 when their subcontracted moving company arrived. We measured ourselves and they told us to contact Swift which claims no responsibility once your items are turned over to the moving company that they contract out to. This is the most deceitful company I have ever dealt with, they also did damage to our flooring and are completely unprofessional. Don't let the good reviews fool you, you will pay double. Rent a U-Haul and save thousands and save yourself the entire headache of dealing with such an unprofessional company.
Moving into our new home was easy, thanks to John & Kevin assistance. They arrived and assisted us in packing up all of our loose belongings and wrapping furniture. They transported all of our large furniture promptly and securely, and everything arrived in excellent shape. Without a doubt, I suggest these people!
My daughter had several large canvases from her art school. The movers placed cardboard between them and kept them upright. Watching her hang them in her new room without damage made both of us very happy.
We bought a fridge and Swift Shift Van Lines did a fantastic job picking it up and delivering it to our place. Made the whole processes simple and care free. Thanks and would definitely use again.
Honestly, I didn’t expect it to go this smoothly. I had heard stories about delays and missing items from other companies, so I was already nervous. But these guys made it easy. They checked in the day before, came on time, and got started right away. I had packed things up the night before, and they didn’t mess with my system. They followed what I asked without turning it into a back-and-forth. It all felt simple and direct, which I appreciated.
