Outstanding experience with Swift Shift Van Lines all the way through. The frosting on the cake is that the staff provides a locked price quote prior to the move in an effort to prevent any hidden charges at its conclusion! They’re my go-to moving company!
I would definitely recommend them. There were about 18 boxes and a few odd-shaped items, and everything was handled without mixing things up. It made settling in later much easier for me. Thanks again!

I used John and their team for a commercial relocation, and they exceeded expectations. They dismantled large shelving units, wrapped them for transport, and reassembled them perfectly at the new location. The entire process felt planned and coordinated, with zero wasted time. The team handled our move-out from an apartment building in the busy downtown area where parking is a huge issue. The driver parked the truck well in the loading area without blocking traffic and the crew finished clearing out our unit of 2 bed units before the arranged time.
The moving experience with this company produced only positive results. They arrived at the scheduled time to perform their tasks with focus and precision until completing all the safe loading and unloading operations. Friendly behavior among their staff made the entire moving process more pleasant for me.
We departed from an elevated structure devoid of a freight elevator. Their composure was commendable throughout what felt like an eternity to us. Because of their competence and power, I was incredibly satisfied.
Right after signing the contract we were funneled off to subcontractors. One in New York and another for delivery in North Carolina. The subcontractors who did the pick up swindled my son out of an additional $363.75 saying more than our 300 cubic feet was used because they couldn't stack boxes on top of furniture. However, when the moving truck arrived in North Carolina, all of the boxes were stacked on furniture in the back of the truck. Second, we paid for packing and unpacking but the guy who delivered was by himself and said he didn't have time to unpack anything. Therefore, we are owed 1/2 of the $300 packing fee.
