I moved last weekend, and these guys did a great job. Three men walked in and started working without me having to explain anything. By noon, everything was settled, and I was ready to unpack.
My wife and I had a comfortable relocation experience. Alan and his team of 3 were efficient workers and handled everything from packing to delivery exceptionally well. They even reassembled our furniture and reinstalled our TV and fridge for us after delivery – and that too without extra charges. We couldn’t be happier with our experience!
The movers from this company did a fantastic job. Jack sent 3 movers on the same day I booked my appointment. They worked hard to pack and transport everything on time, even though the booking was last minute. The move went smoothly, and I had no issues adjusting, so their hard work was worthwhile.
Last month, I moved my collection of 100 framed photographs to a new gallery. Two people came by and helped me with the heavy wooden crates. They were careful with the glass and the corners of the frames. I liked how they organized the truck, so the largest items were in the back. The drive across town was fast, and they unloaded the art in an hour. My new gallery looks great, and I am happy with the results.
Really pleased with how things went with the team from Swift Shift Van Lines. The movers arrived on time and got right to work. They were friendly and careful with my things. I appreciated how they didn’t rush, especially with fragile items. The whole move was done in a few hours, and all items arrived without any issues. It was a much easier experience than I expected. Right after signing the contract we were funneled off to subcontractors. One in New York and another for delivery in North Carolina. The subcontractors who did the pick up swindled my son out of an additional $363.75 saying more than our 300 cubic feet was used because they couldn't stack boxes on top of furniture. However, when the moving truck arrived in North Carolina, all of the boxes were stacked on furniture in the back of the truck. Second, we paid for packing and unpacking but the guy who delivered was by himself and said he didn't have time to unpack anything. Therefore, we are owed 1/2 of the $300 packing fee.
This company is not to be trusted. They give you specific pricing and I was also given 7-10 day window for arrival of my goods. All a lie. They broker out their business and don’t mention that. The price went up by 1500, although I did a quality assurance call and updated my items to be moved which they did not update and give to the movers they contract with. SO when the movers showed up they wanted 1500 more and told me 30 days for arrival. I had a find a new company entirely and swift shift cancelled me and kept my 1096.00 deposit. They are all crooks. Ted, who took my original order, is deceptive as best. Jonathon Ortiz ,Lily DeSilva and Jordan, the quality assurance guy, are all very rude, and unethical. Don’t know how they sleep at night. They should provide at least a partial refund just to restore faith
I had to move 25 boxes and a large sofa from my condo. The movers loaded everything in under two hours, carried with care, and placed items exactly where I wanted. I’d highly recommend their service.
