The layout at the new place was a bit tight, especially around the entrance. They adjusted how they carried larger furniture to get it inside without damaging the walls.
Relocating stock for my small bookstore was a big task. These workers carried boxes of novels and display racks into the new unit. I am satisfied with the help I received.
William and his group were outstanding! They were thorough, quick, and on schedule. They also neatly wrapped everything. They assisted me without any issues throughout the 2 stops I had to make with my furniture. Without a doubt, I would suggest them!
This was a weekend move for my wardrobe only. Clothing racks, shoe boxes, mirrors, and a vanity. The movers brought hanging boxes. Dresses stayed on hangers. Shoes stayed paired. Mirrors were padded fully. The vanity fit through the door without removing legs. I was impressed by that.
I used them for the move of my parents, and they were very respectful. They seemed to take their time with the heavier items and listened when my parents asked where we should put furniture. The movers' hard work and patience were really appreciated.
The movers were courteous enough to maintain cleanliness during my recent move. Since it was raining and they had to move in and out of the house for loading, they fetched carpets and mats and put them all over the house. After they were done, they did a final check to see if my place looked clean too. I honestly value their generosity!
I asked Swift Shift Van Lines to move my baking equipment to a different kitchen. They loaded the mixers, trays, and boxes of ingredients without rushing. Everything ended up in the right place when they were done unloading.
Swift Shift Van Lines is a moving Broker. Something their agent did not tell us when we were on the phone. The agent also said our belongings would be stored in the state we were moving to; the mover that arrived said our belonging were going to be stored in another state. Also the agent under estimated the space we would need for our belongings, so the initial price was acceptable; when the mover arrived the space needed and price went up by alot. The link for the estimate expired by the time the mover arrived (something they do not inform you of). The mover showed up at 815pm on the second day, within the two day window. They contacted us several times moving the pick up time; but showing up that late is not good business management or respectful to the customer. When we were told the new moving cost estimate; we attempted to call Swift Shift Van Lines and were going to cancel and see about a refund, but no one answered. We would not under any circumstance recommend Swift Shift Van Lines.
DON'T DO IT ! We came across swift shift van lines and it all started out good. Gave them the estimated inventory and they gave an estimated affordable quote. Robert Collins, the "senior relocation specialist" played us like a fiddle. Bunk beds apparently only have one matress. King beds don't have a box spring or a bedframe. Those are things they hit you with after you give them the deposit. So I price jumped drastically. Specifically, $2000.00 more than we planned. Jordan, the quality assurance associate, wasn't trying to help us at all. All he was focused on is getting the "rest of the deposit". Deposits are "non-refundable" so if you decide that this service is just not for you, they just keep your money. Even if you tell them that you just simply can not afford their services, they don't give your money back. They will drain you. Website says no surprises and it was a lie. Talked to the "manager" Olivia, told her we are no longer interested in your services and you can keep the initial deposit. All she said was deposits are non-refundable". Apparently, we only paid half the deposit up front so she that there was going to be another charge. Olivia didn't try to make things right, or offer any money back. Also, they will take your routing and account number off of your check and try to process unauthorized payments. At the end of the day, we canceled everything. They won't see another cent of our hard earned money. Now, I'm moving everything myself, just me, my girlfriend, our 6 month year old baby, 5 year old, and 9 year old. I do not recommended this company to anybody.
This company is not to be trusted. They give you specific pricing and I was also given 7-10 day window for arrival of my goods. All a lie. They broker out their business and don’t mention that. The price went up by 1500, although I did a quality assurance call and updated my items to be moved which they did not update and give to the movers they contract with. SO when the movers showed up they wanted 1500 more and told me 30 days for arrival. I had a find a new company entirely and swift shift cancelled me and kept my 1096.00 deposit. They are all crooks. Ted, who took my original order, is deceptive as best. Jonathon Ortiz ,Lily DeSilva and Jordan, the quality assurance guy, are all very rude, and unethical. Don’t know how they sleep at night. They should provide at least a partial refund just to restore faith
