I felt very comfortable having these movers in my home. David and the other guys were polite, and they worked very fast without being messy. Everything went according to plan.
To be completely honest, I only picked Swift Shift Van Lines because they were the cheapest option on the list I got from a friend. I did not expect much if I am being real. But the crew that showed up worked harder than any movers I have ever seen. They loaded the entire truck in two hours and then drove forty-five minutes to my new place and unloaded everything in another hour and a half. The price stayed the same as the quote, and nothing was damaged. Sometimes the cheapest option is actually the best option.
It was a pleasure to work with this firm. The office staff there was really helpful and responsive to my inquiries. The movers they provided were polite, on time, and quite useful. I noticed scratches on a dresser after the move. While accidents can happen, I was disappointed by how the company handled my complaint. I never received a proper resolution.
I had no major problems with the move into my new home whatsoever, even though there were parking issues and delays caused by weather.
Go ahead and book them if you have a lot of stairs like I do. My new place is on the third floor with no elevator, and I had a heavy treadmill and a weight bench that needed to go up. Those guys didn't complain once, even though it was nearly 90 degrees outside. They just put their heads down and got it done safely. I am seriously impressed with the hustle they showed throughout the entire afternoon.
