Even though I had only a mattress and a few boxes to move, the crew treated me like their most valued customer. For my small task, they were thorough and took no shortcuts. Their expertise was greatly appreciated.
Moving is very stressful, but thanks to George and his team, who made it easy. Our hardwood floors were protected from scratches because they used corner guards and floor runners. They labelled each box, which made unpacking very easy. The group made a barcoded inventory list, scanning every item as it moved from our old house to the new one. Not a single item was lost or damaged, and the relocation was finished before the scheduled time.
Their management and service providing game is unrivalled. Despite the fact that I rescheduled my relocation on a really short notice, the movers executed everything from packing to unloading timely. They reassembled heavy pieces of furniture and even remounted my curtain rods at the new place. Recommended highly!
The two movers arrived early and immediately started wrapping the fragile items. They efficiently loaded a whole truck of stuff in three hours. They worked non-stop until the last box was placed in the new garage. They truly sped up my timeline significantly. This team was focused, fast, and very efficient.

They just got stuck in and handled my mountain of kitchen boxes and old books without any drama. It was nice to deal with people who didn't complain about the heat. All the things got to my new cottage by sunset.

Despite providing an accurate listing of all our box numbers and furniture, Swift Shift Van Lines tried charging us nearly double the original estimated price, even though our original and moving day inventories were almost identical. We were disappointed by their inaccurate cost estimation, which caused twice as much financial stress on moving day. Regarding their delivery process, we received inconsistent information from different representatives at Swift Shift Van Lines: 1) In the initial phone call, we were told that the average delivery time is 3-5 days after pickup. 2) On the moving day, the mover said delivery could occur in 3 days. 3) One day after pickup, another representative said delivery would occur in 1-5 business days. 4) In the last email communication, another representative informed us that delivery would take 5-15 business days. As of today, it is Day 5 after the pickup, and we still have no information regarding the delivery. If you don't want to experience difficult times in an empty apartment without your belongings, do NOT work with Swift Shift Van Lines.
