There was a point during the move where I thought it might take much longer than planned, but they finished right on time. Swift Shift Van Lines handled everything very efficiently.
Communication throughout the move was one of the biggest issues. I was not kept informed when the schedule changed and had to make several calls for updates. This created unnecessary stress. I think the customer service could be improved significantly.
The team assisted me with the move from a 1-bedroom apartment, making the day much easier. They had other boxes to store my belongings in that were needed. They've also been moving blankets around my dresser, TV stand and dining chairs.
It was a pleasure to work with this firm. The office staff there was really helpful and responsive to my inquiries. The movers they provided were polite, on time, and quite useful. I had a bunch of seasonal decorations in a shed near the woods, and they had to be moved to a cleared spot closer to the house for sorting. The movers pulled the large boxes out carefully so branches wouldn’t snag them. They placed each group where I pointed and didn’t crowd the space.
Andrew and his team were incredible! They moved all of our belongings from our three-bedroom apartment to DE and worked tirelessly until 9 pm to ensure everything was taken care of. They packed everything neatly and securely, and labeled everything clearly. They also unloaded everything carefully and placed everything where we wanted them. Even though John and James were exhausted, they remained positive and had a great attitude. They were very friendly and cheerful, and they made us feel comfortable and relaxed.
My old place had a tricky spiral staircase. They measured, planned, and executed flawlessly. They made it look easy, leaving me impressed by their expertise.
Everything I asked for and needed was noted by the project manager. He was conscious to adhere to them. I salute them!
Punctuality is important to me, and the movers arrived exactly at 10:50 AM, as promised. They greeted me with a smile and quickly walked through the house to understand what needed to be done. I appreciated how they asked small questions like where to park the truck and which boxes were high-priority. They were polite throughout and cracked a few jokes to lighten the mood. The entire move felt friendly and stress-free.
James and his group just did a killer job with my move from FL to TX. These guys were so courteous, handling all my furniture with care, including my baker’s rack and my beloved armchair. They even helped me disassemble my dressing table and put it back together in my new place. And despite the fact that we had to move during rush hour traffic, they didn’t complain once. They were very patient and flexible. They rocked my move and I’m very grateful to them.
