So pleased with how this relocation turned out. I was moving to a coastal house and had concerns about humidity affecting my stuff. The movers took time to wrap each piece and added protective layers suited for the weather. After reaching, all things were safe without any damage.
I had a good experience with the movers. They were very helpful, hard working and cared for our furniture. Communications leading up to the move was clear, but I would have liked to have had a more specific arrival time. No major problems with delivery.

One of the movers secured a loose panel before picking it up. I stayed nearby while they worked through the rooms. Items were handled one at a time. I did not feel lost during the process.

Relocating our small office seemed like it would be a nightmare, but it turned out to be incredibly easy. The movers labeled everything, so it went to the right desks and even set up the heavier equipment for us. Moved into an apartment building with strict rules, so I thought the day would get messy. This crew from Swift Shift Van Lines sorted things out with the building staff and kept the work moving without delays. They used the right entry area and worked through the shared spaces without creating trouble. The team stayed focused and didn’t slow down once they started.
This company is not to be trusted. They give you specific pricing and I was also given 7-10 day window for arrival of my goods. All a lie. They broker out their business and don’t mention that. The price went up by 1500, although I did a quality assurance call and updated my items to be moved which they did not update and give to the movers they contract with. SO when the movers showed up they wanted 1500 more and told me 30 days for arrival. I had a find a new company entirely and swift shift cancelled me and kept my 1096.00 deposit. They are all crooks. Ted, who took my original order, is deceptive as best. Jonathon Ortiz ,Lily DeSilva and Jordan, the quality assurance guy, are all very rude, and unethical. Don’t know how they sleep at night. They should provide at least a partial refund just to restore faith
Overall, the experience was below average. Better planning, stronger communication, and improved customer service would have made a significant difference.
