Overall, the experience was below average. Better planning, stronger communication, and improved customer service would have made a significant difference.
At the last minute, I didn't have enough boxes to hold all my trinkets. Fortunately, the group had a supply of extra packing materials and cartons. They immediately jumped in to help me pack those odds and ends. I stayed within my budget, and the relocation was completed on schedule.
I needed help moving a few office chairs and tables. The workers were respectful, stayed focused on their task, and completed everything within the same morning.
So my move was complicated because my new place has a really narrow hallway. I warned them about it when they got here. The guys just nodded, measured it, and figured out a plan on the spot. They angled my bookcase perfectly and got it through without a scratch on the wall or the furniture. I was amazed.
Really pleased with how things went with the team from Swift Shift Van Lines. The movers arrived on time and got right to work. They were friendly and careful with my things. I appreciated how they didn’t rush, especially with fragile items. The whole move was done in a few hours, and all items arrived without any issues. It was a much easier experience than I expected. I stored some of my belongings in their storage facility to paint my home. After the work was completed, I called them to deliver the items back to me. The crew meticulously delivered my antique dining set the very next day. This service was exceptionally reliable, which is very rare. If you need them, please use them.
For my move out of state, these guys were a huge help. I had a bit of a mess with my building's freight elevator being out of service, but they just rolled with it and got everything up the stairs without any complaints.
