The move took four hours total from start to finish. I had a three hour window estimated so they were a little over, but I did not mind because they were careful the whole time.
They loaded and unloaded wooden furniture with a ton of care. These guys are hands down the best movers you could ever hope for.
Swift Shift Van Lines is a moving Broker. Something their agent did not tell us when we were on the phone. The agent also said our belongings would be stored in the state we were moving to; the mover that arrived said our belonging were going to be stored in another state. Also the agent under estimated the space we would need for our belongings, so the initial price was acceptable; when the mover arrived the space needed and price went up by alot. The link for the estimate expired by the time the mover arrived (something they do not inform you of). The mover showed up at 815pm on the second day, within the two day window. They contacted us several times moving the pick up time; but showing up that late is not good business management or respectful to the customer. When we were told the new moving cost estimate; we attempted to call Swift Shift Van Lines and were going to cancel and see about a refund, but no one answered. We would not under any circumstance recommend Swift Shift Van Lines.
Movers were concerned about their safety during the epidemic. Hand sanitizer was provided to each mover and they worked so professionally and cheerfully as a team. It was a commendable move.
Couldn't be happier with how the move turned out. The movers arrived right at sunrise, ready to handle all the catering supplies for my new kitchen setup. They carefully organized pans, racks, and coolers by size and made sure everything was securely sealed before loading. The whole experience was smooth, efficient, and stress-free from beginning to end.
After selling my place, I shifted to a nearby home. The crew sorted items by how delicate they were. They secured loose parts and stacked cartons with care. During unloading, they placed items in clear areas. This helped me settle in and organize the space quickly.
They kept everything stable during the drive. When we reached, nothing had shifted around, which made unloading quicker. We had a flawless, full service move.
These movers really eased the emotional burden of moving my kid into his dorm. They helped him set up his small refrigerator and workstation. What a brilliant group!
Moving with a newborn seemed like a nightmare, but these movers were incredibly understanding and efficient. They worked quickly, made sure to keep noise levels low, and even helped rearrange furniture so we could set up the nursery easily. I highly recommend them!
Their management and service providing game is unrivalled. Despite the fact that I rescheduled my relocation on a really short notice, the movers executed everything from packing to unloading timely. They reassembled heavy pieces of furniture and even remounted my curtain rods at the new place. Recommended highly!
