They were always in a good mood and would do whatever you asked. I didn't care that the movers took breaks to chill because the moving day was very hot and humid. So, stoked! Everything went according to plan.
I recently downsized from a house to a condo and had way more to donate or throw away than I thought. I was worried it would slow everything down, but the movers didn't make a fuss. They helped load donation boxes separately and made sure everything I was keeping got handled carefully. I felt supported the whole day, and that made letting go of things easier.
Last month, I moved my collection of 100 framed photographs to a new gallery. Two people came by and helped me with the heavy wooden crates. They were careful with the glass and the corners of the frames. I liked how they organized the truck, so the largest items were in the back. The drive across town was fast, and they unloaded the art in an hour. My new gallery looks great, and I am happy with the results.
This company is not to be trusted. They give you specific pricing and I was also given 7-10 day window for arrival of my goods. All a lie. They broker out their business and don’t mention that. The price went up by 1500, although I did a quality assurance call and updated my items to be moved which they did not update and give to the movers they contract with. SO when the movers showed up they wanted 1500 more and told me 30 days for arrival. I had a find a new company entirely and swift shift cancelled me and kept my 1096.00 deposit. They are all crooks. Ted, who took my original order, is deceptive as best. Jonathon Ortiz ,Lily DeSilva and Jordan, the quality assurance guy, are all very rude, and unethical. Don’t know how they sleep at night. They should provide at least a partial refund just to restore faith
Our house had a lot of heavy furniture—including an oversized sectional and a marble dining table. Swift Shift Van Lines handled it all with ease. They used lifting straps to carry the heavier items and disassembled the table to make it easier to transport. They wrapped each piece in thick blankets to protect against damage. Watching them lift and carry everything with such skill was impressive. They made moving heavy furniture look effortless, and everything arrived without a scratch.
Moved into an apartment building with strict rules, so I thought the day would get messy. This crew from Swift Shift Van Lines sorted things out with the building staff and kept the work moving without delays. They used the right entry area and worked through the shared spaces without creating trouble. The team stayed focused and didn’t slow down once they started.
Our "home" was in good hands, and we couldn't be happier with our decision to hire them; David and the rest of the Swift Shift Van Lines team demonstrated impressive competence and efficiency.
Moving out of my old ranch house was a big task because of the massive basement storage. I had years of holiday decorations and old furniture down there. Swift Shift Van Lines sent a team that worked incredibly hard all morning. They carried every single box up the stairs and into the truck. I was surprised at how much they could fit in one trip. They were very cheerful and easy to talk to during the whole process.
I paid for $4000 for 800 cubic square feet and they only allowed me 640 when their subcontracted moving company arrived. We measured ourselves and they told us to contact Swift which claims no responsibility once your items are turned over to the moving company that they contract out to. This is the most deceitful company I have ever dealt with, they also did damage to our flooring and are completely unprofessional. Don't let the good reviews fool you, you will pay double. Rent a U-Haul and save thousands and save yourself the entire headache of dealing with such an unprofessional company.

They handled the responsibilities professionally and stayed consistent. The day ended without issues or delays. Based on my experience, I would recommend them to others planning a move.
