My couch was easily hauled down three flights of stairs by the movers. It didn’t have one scratch They made my work easier and less stressful.
We moved and picked up furniture from our home, a family member's house and a storage unit. The company carefully outlined the route and verified the order of stops. During unloading, all items were accounted for.
This company tells you what you want to hear & never follows up. Basically after you’ve paid they deliver lip service. I have moved 12 times previously & never had the problems that I encountered with Swift. On my moving day, nothing went right. The movers had not been notified of the updates I had made. I had to leave items behind due to the truck not having enough room. The customer service staff had no answers & made no compensations for the disaster this move was. Do Not waste your money or time with this unprofessional moving company.
The move from my old apartment went better than I expected. The team from Swift Shift Van Lines showed up ready and kept things steady the whole time. They took care of my stuff and stayed polite through it all. All the belongings made it to the new place without a problem. I liked how simple they made the process. I’d call them again next time without hesitation.
I had no major problems with the move into my new home whatsoever, even though there were parking issues and delays caused by weather.
There was a delay with the elevator in my building, and I expected it to affect the move. Bobby adjusted the order of loading so the time was still used efficiently.
I highly recommend Swift Shift Van Lines. We were moving my son into a 3rd-floor dorm at State University. Parking was a nightmare, but they handled it. William and his partner carried that mini-fridge and the trunk full of textbooks up all those stairs. They were fast and friendly with all the students moving in around us. Made a chaotic day much smoother for us parents.

I was overjoyed when I received every single piece in perfect shape!
