What a fantastic group of people! Their professionalism, care and speed were evident as they skillfully relocated our belongings to a third-floor apartment. To make sure they could meet us when we were ready, they checked in with us the day before our visit to see what time we were expecting to arrive. And they did! Almost a week before the event, I made my reservation.
Before using Swift Shift Van Lines, my moving experience was terrible. The customer care representatives were informative on the call and gave me up-to-date information at a fair price. For our relocation, the 4 movers were incredibly efficient and punctual. They breezed through a difficult task. Warm regards!
The move took four hours total from start to finish. I had a three hour window estimated so they were a little over, but I did not mind because they were careful the whole time.
This is a broker. They don’t know what they’re doing when they price / size your items. When the actual movers came, they told me I needed another 150 square feet and it would cost 1500$ more. This company under quoted me for all my furniture and even told me I actually had room to add more furniture. It took a long time to get in contact with the company to discuss this issue. When I finally did, the agent wouldn’t talk to me and he immediately transferred my call to his supervisor. He hasn’t even returned my email. The supervisor was extremely rude and offered no solutions. She had no sympathy for the situation. Terrible customer service. Would not recommend this company.
The movers were courteous enough to maintain cleanliness during my recent move. Since it was raining and they had to move in and out of the house for loading, they fetched carpets and mats and put them all over the house. After they were done, they did a final check to see if my place looked clean too. I honestly value their generosity!
They gave me a detailed estimate, and it stayed accurate even when I added more things to move. The crew arrived on time, wrapped everything up, and loaded it onto the truck. I'm thankful they stuck to what we agreed on.
All staff was humble and expert. Nothing was damaged, and everything passed through. As they packed everything, they took great care to protect the woodwork. Our team leader, Joseph, took the time to find out where we liked the things packed and where everything was going in the new house. When we made reservations, they were accommodating and patient.
Our family had to move out of state for work, and Swift Shift Van Lines made it easier. They packed the truck neatly, kept me updated during the drive, and delivered every item on time. That communication was reassuring.
Our "home" was in good hands, and we couldn't be happier with our decision to hire them; David and the rest of the Swift Shift Van Lines team demonstrated impressive competence and efficiency.
