Honestly, I was not expecting it to go this smoothly. The whole move was done faster than I thought, and the guys were very easy to deal with.
We used Swift Shift Van Lines to prepare our household items for overseas container moving. They professionally wrapped and inventoried every piece, meeting all international standards. The entire process felt very secure and detailed. Person name answered all my difficult customs questions beforehand.
They managed to load the entire house into the truck quicker than I thought possible. No yelling, no rushing, just steady work. All the stuff was tied down and secured before they pulled off. They knew what they were doing.
A crew assisted with moving my hunting gear and some metal safes last week. They hauled the locked boxes to the new property. Everything stayed secure during the drive across the county line.
Everything was well coordinated from the booking to the move. I received an email confirming the date and time of the crew's arrival, an invoice breakdown and a reminder of items to pack. The crew arrived promptly and worked around the clock on moving day until the job was completed safely. I can't say enough nice things about them!
Right after signing the contract we were funneled off to subcontractors. One in New York and another for delivery in North Carolina. The subcontractors who did the pick up swindled my son out of an additional $363.75 saying more than our 300 cubic feet was used because they couldn't stack boxes on top of furniture. However, when the moving truck arrived in North Carolina, all of the boxes were stacked on furniture in the back of the truck. Second, we paid for packing and unpacking but the guy who delivered was by himself and said he didn't have time to unpack anything. Therefore, we are owed 1/2 of the $300 packing fee.
I used John and their team for a commercial relocation, and they exceeded expectations. They dismantled large shelving units, wrapped them for transport, and reassembled them perfectly at the new location. The entire process felt planned and coordinated, with zero wasted time. That level of skill and professionalism is exactly why I'd hire them again in a heartbeat.

Movers were concerned about their safety during the epidemic. Hand sanitizer was provided to each mover and they worked so professionally and cheerfully as a team. It was a commendable move.
Swift Shift Van Lines stepped in for a cross-country move when another provider dropped out last minute. What could’ve been a logistical nightmare turned into a smooth process. Every step, from packing to the final delivery, was handled with clockwork precision and a calming presence. Their movers did an amazing job!
