We were relocating after selling our home and had a limited window before the buyers took possession. Swift Shift Van Lines movers packed and loaded everything within hours, cleaned up after themselves, and cleared the space before the deadline. It was all seamless from start to finish!
DO NOT USE THEM!! they do not tell you the small details that one needs to know, e.g. you cannot update your invoice list once you give it to them, then when the movers show up, they want to charge you more for anything that's not on the list. i refused service because they wanted to charge me DOUBLE the price agreed. they also do not communicate box standards, and want to charge you more for anything that doesn't fit said standard. horrible communication and they will rip you off!!
This is a first-rate moving company. We used their packing and relocation assistance to move from SD to NY. The team arrived, provided a quotation for the job, and didn't force me to get extra services. To pack everything, they came the day before the relocation. They went above and beyond to box some more fragile goods securely. Also, they scheduled an extra vehicle for the next day after realizing they would need one for the relocation on the day of packing. Everything was packed and unpacked nicely on the move's day and organized smoothly. They also made sure we were comfortable before leaving. I would use them again and heartily suggest them.

The crew was excellent during our apartment renovation. We appreciated our moving coordinator, Michael, for taking the initiative and managing the transfer. He kept us informed and ensured effective delivery and packaging. After packing, they stored our belongings in the company's facility until repairs were complete. We also appreciate his hassle-free service!
I had a good experience with the movers. They were very helpful, hard working and cared for our furniture. Communications leading up to the move was clear, but I would have liked to have had a more specific arrival time. No major problems with delivery.
The workers demonstrated their capability to load and unload massive objects, performing exceptionally well.
Before moving, I needed to get rid of a lot of old basement junk and broken furniture. I added their haul-away service to the moving package. The crew quickly removed all the unwanted items right from the basement. This saved me a lot of time and heavy lifting before the actual moving day.
Instead of using single-use plastics, they utilized reusable boxes and moving blankets. I admired their efforts to be sustainable!
We bought a fridge and Swift Shift Van Lines did a fantastic job picking it up and delivering it to our place. Made the whole processes simple and care free. Thanks and would definitely use again.
