I felt very comfortable having these movers in my home. David and the other guys were polite, and they worked very fast without being messy. Everything went according to plan.
We moved a couple blocks away from our current place, and this company’s movers were fantastic from start to finish. They were friendly, careful, and quick! We had a few fragile items, and were concerned they might get damaged, but everything was handled carefully and arrived in perfect condition. We couldn’t have asked for a better moving experience!
My move involved over 60 boxes of delicate glassware and a very heavy industrial sewing machine from my craft studio. I was so worried about the vibration of the truck breaking my vintage vases. Brett used extra padding and stacked the crates so nothing could shift during the turns. It was a relief to unpack everything and find zero broken pieces. If you have fragile hobby equipment, you should definitely give them a call.
David checked on every detail during the move. He reminded the crew to double-wrap fragile items and asked me about the placement of the boxes. Having that extra attention gave me a lot of peace of mind.
We had several glass tables and mirrors in our move. The crew wrapped them carefully, taped the corners, and carried them without rushing. Every fragile item made it into the new place safely. Stellar job
I was moving across the state for work, and I wasn’t sure how I’d get everything there in one piece. The movers I hired from here were amazing from start to finish. They wrapped up my furniture, electronics, and crockery carefully. They kept in touch throughout the move, and I felt reassured every step of the way. Despite providing an accurate listing of all our box numbers and furniture, Swift Shift Van Lines tried charging us nearly double the original estimated price, even though our original and moving day inventories were almost identical. We were disappointed by their inaccurate cost estimation, which caused twice as much financial stress on moving day. Regarding their delivery process, we received inconsistent information from different representatives at Swift Shift Van Lines: 1) In the initial phone call, we were told that the average delivery time is 3-5 days after pickup. 2) On the moving day, the mover said delivery could occur in 3 days. 3) One day after pickup, another representative said delivery would occur in 1-5 business days. 4) In the last email communication, another representative informed us that delivery would take 5-15 business days. As of today, it is Day 5 after the pickup, and we still have no information regarding the delivery. If you don't want to experience difficult times in an empty apartment without your belongings, do NOT work with Swift Shift Van Lines.
It was necessary to relocate a 2-bedroom home to NY. Swift Shift Van Lines was the greatest moving firm to hire. On the day of my relocation, the crew showed up ready to work. Before placing it on their vehicle, they wrapped every piece of furniture in blankets and tape. They took the same amount of care with my boxes. I was amazed at how skillfully they managed the move.
Kevin and his crew showed up on time and completed the task effectively. I would recommend them without hesitation. This is my first time relocating without anybody else, and they made me feel more confident and at ease.
Swift Shift Van Lines did an amazing job with my move from an apartment to a townhouse. They gave me a clear quote upfront and stuck to it. There were no hidden fees, and they didn’t try to upsell me on unnecessary services. They were efficient, respectful, and made sure my belongings were handled with care. I had some heavy furniture, but they used the right equipment, like moving dollies and straps, to make sure everything was safely loaded into the truck. The move took less time than expected, and I was so impressed by their professionalism.
