This move was part of a bigger life change, so I just wanted it handled without extra drama. They showed up, did the job properly, and left me with one less thing to worry about.
Jack and the team stayed behind few hours to help me reassemble and reinstall my electronics. I truly appreciated the extra help since I had moved alone and didn’t know who to contact in the unfamiliar place. I am beyond grateful!
Swift Shift Van Lines is a moving Broker. Something their agent did not tell us when we were on the phone. The agent also said our belongings would be stored in the state we were moving to; the mover that arrived said our belonging were going to be stored in another state. Also the agent under estimated the space we would need for our belongings, so the initial price was acceptable; when the mover arrived the space needed and price went up by alot. The link for the estimate expired by the time the mover arrived (something they do not inform you of). The mover showed up at 815pm on the second day, within the two day window. They contacted us several times moving the pick up time; but showing up that late is not good business management or respectful to the customer. When we were told the new moving cost estimate; we attempted to call Swift Shift Van Lines and were going to cancel and see about a refund, but no one answered. We would not under any circumstance recommend Swift Shift Van Lines.
BEWARE. Stay away from this company. They will take your deposit and the day of the move they more than double the price of the move. I specifically told the broker we had 2 10 ft sofas it’s in my contract and the movers said they take up too much space. It was extortion the day of the move. I guess they make there business by keeping your deposit. I paid by credit card and I will fight them. HORRIBLE COMPANY. STAY AWAY.

They took photos of the setup of electronic devices before disassembling them, which helped immensely when reassembling. They had a wardrobe box for clothes, so they arrived wrinkle-free. The team leader, Steven, updated throughout the move, ensuring nothing was overlooked.
A crew assisted with moving my hunting gear and some metal safes last week. They hauled the locked boxes to the new property. Everything stayed secure during the drive across the county line.
They had clearly marked all of the boxes by room, and unpacking at the new house was surprisingly quick and efficient!
The movers worked efficiently and stayed organized from start to finish. Fragile household items received extra attention during transportation. The unloading process was quick and well managed.
These guys are great; they get the job done and are kind to boot. The relocation was accomplished rapidly, and all items were treated with the highest care throughout.
