Swift Shift Van Lines offered top-notch services. I hired them the first time but they didn't fail to impress me. My fragile was very cautiously packed and labeled with fragile stickers.
Kenneth was the group leader and brought all the tools he needed to lift big items, including my king-sized bed, elliptical machine, and pool table. Even with minor items like lamps and nightstands, they ensured everything would fit snugly into the moving truck.
Go ahead and book them if you have a lot of stairs like I do. My new place is on the third floor with no elevator, and I had a heavy treadmill and a weight bench that needed to go up. Those guys didn't complain once, even though it was nearly 90 degrees outside. They just put their heads down and got it done safely. I am seriously impressed with the hustle they showed throughout the entire afternoon.

I am so glad I hired this team because they made my move look like a breeze. The truck was plenty big enough for all my clothes and kitchen supplies. They handled my television with a lot of care and made sure it was stable for the drive. It was a very smooth experience from start to finish. Swift Shift Van Lines really knows how to get the job done right.
The worst moving company on this planet, and I have moved a lot, including cross continents and cross country. They give you a sale pitch with low price and how no additional fees will possibly occur and once they take your deposit, it all goes down hill. They increased price almost two fold because of changes in inventory of 10 more boxes (75 vs. 65 boxes caused price increase from $2.5k to $4.5k) in a scale of one bedroom apartment move with furniture. The person on the phone doing final inventory was rude and straight up said take $4.5 final or lose your 1k deposit, which also happened right before the move leaving me absolutely no choice but pay double. Then, they said they would provide insurance in advance (required by my building) and in the end I only saw insurance after driver showed up. Company that showed up had their own fees, that were not part of my contract with swift shift van lines, or even explicitly I was told in the contract that I wouldn't pay ("no elevator charge"), that I was forced to pay in advance otherwise they wouldn't start the move. They sent too few people and move took so long, they went over 1 hour outside of the window that my building allowed for moves (which I made company aware multiple times) and caused serious friction with management in my building. Upon arrival of my stuff across the country, additional fees were imposed that were not part of my contract (which I was forced to pay if I wanted to get my stuff back) for the total of $5.1k (vs. $2.5k quote I received when I started talking to them). Cherry on top - they made me sign inventory before they delivered and then they lost an electric scooter worth $1.3k and did absolutely nothing about it! I got back $20 from insurance claim!!! Multiple items were also damaged. Not a single lamp survived their "white glove" service. Absolutely, not under a gun point would I ever agree or recommend this company to anyone.
My cousin’s piano was moved with the help of Swift Shift Van Lines. They rolled it onto the truck, strapped it tight, and unloaded it smoothly in his new garage. The bike looked just like it did before the move.
This was a weekend move for my wardrobe only. Clothing racks, shoe boxes, mirrors, and a vanity. The movers brought hanging boxes. Dresses stayed on hangers. Shoes stayed paired. Mirrors were padded fully. The vanity fit through the door without removing legs. I was impressed by that.
I have no qualms about recommending Carl and his team because of the great attention and work they put into assisting me to move from TX to NY. Even though it can seem easy, packing and relocating a whole house is a big task. When I called this company and got affordable costs, I was overjoyed.
The Swift Shift Van Lines staff surprised me last week by giving me a freshly painted dining room table. Nothing at all went wrong. Everything went smoothly since I knew what to expect from the moment, I scheduled the job and began receiving emails and messages saying "we are on our way."
