Our relocation was trouble-free because of Swift Shift Van Lines packing and moving staff. The crew, led by David, showed up on time, handled my family's belongings carefully, and cleaned up the mess of packing after themselves neatly. Their packing skills left me surprised. Recommended!
I must admit that I was astounded by how meticulous they were. The finished product was magnificent, and it proved to me that they paid close attention to every detail.
The movers arrived and packed everything for me the day before the move. They were friendly, efficient, and quick. On moving day, they promptly began working. Despite the difficulty in finding parking, they managed to get everything into my new apartment. I would recommend this company to everyone, as they made the entire moving process very easy.
DON'T DO IT ! We came across swift shift van lines and it all started out good. Gave them the estimated inventory and they gave an estimated affordable quote. Robert Collins, the "senior relocation specialist" played us like a fiddle. Bunk beds apparently only have one matress. King beds don't have a box spring or a bedframe. Those are things they hit you with after you give them the deposit. So I price jumped drastically. Specifically, $2000.00 more than we planned. Jordan, the quality assurance associate, wasn't trying to help us at all. All he was focused on is getting the "rest of the deposit". Deposits are "non-refundable" so if you decide that this service is just not for you, they just keep your money. Even if you tell them that you just simply can not afford their services, they don't give your money back. They will drain you. Website says no surprises and it was a lie. Talked to the "manager" Olivia, told her we are no longer interested in your services and you can keep the initial deposit. All she said was deposits are non-refundable". Apparently, we only paid half the deposit up front so she that there was going to be another charge. Olivia didn't try to make things right, or offer any money back. Also, they will take your routing and account number off of your check and try to process unauthorized payments. At the end of the day, we canceled everything. They won't see another cent of our hard earned money. Now, I'm moving everything myself, just me, my girlfriend, our 6 month year old baby, 5 year old, and 9 year old. I do not recommended this company to anybody.
We had an office relocation with ten desks, several monitors, and filing cabinets. The movers labeled everything, packed electronics separately, and set up the desks again at the new space. I would recommend them to any business.
I'm feeling uneasy about moving into a new house after living in the same house for years, but the crew made it seem easy. They had to pack our furniture carefully, handle any fragile boxes and remain organized throughout the day. It was a much easier process than I could have ever imagined. I would definitely use their services again.
Beginning with the planning stages and concluding with the unpacking, this moving company's proficiency shone through at each and every phase of our moving.
Communication throughout the move was one of the biggest issues. I was not kept informed when the schedule changed and had to make several calls for updates. This created unnecessary stress. I think the customer service could be improved significantly.
Our cross-country move was a big leap, but the moving coordinator from this company made it feel simple. He walked us through inventory, permits, and delivery schedules. Our things arrived right on time, and not a single box went missing. Kudos to them!
