We were in the process of moving into our house, which had just been renovated, so I was extremely worried about the walls and floors. The movers took great care in moving all the things in. They spared no time with the larger pieces of furniture and did not cause any damage.
Contracted for a small move for my elderly parents and finalized the list a week prior, but when the movers came they had a different list and wanted more money, then was told the delivery would be on a certain date and two weeks later still no household goods and they are without a mattress and walkers and there is not estimated date of arrival. Terrible experience so far.
These movers really eased the emotional burden of moving my kid into his dorm. They helped him set up his small refrigerator and workstation. What a brilliant group!
Mixed feelings. The SSV are brokers. We were quoted a price. the moving company they hired were rated 1 star and demanded more money than quoted and refused to deliver some pieces of furniture. The delivery dates quoted by SSV were 5-10 days. The movers they hired stated 7-10 business days the actually delivery time was 16 business days. The boxes were not securely stored as when they were delivered some boxes were torn, massive holes where items were spilling out, a gross liquid spilled over 5. The men packing up and delivering were different. The delivery people were nice, quick and didn't try to scam more money out of us like the pick up crew did. I feel betrayed about all moving companies from this experience. Good luck to everyone who uses this company and I suggest finding out who they hire as movers before signing so you do not get a low rate mover through this broker.
With order MC-2412, I was impressed by the smoothness of everything. The movers were well prepared, worked well together and didn't get the process started in a confusing way. They took care of my furniture, which was very appreciated. There was no damage done and the entire move was well organized throughout.
I don’t usually leave reviews, but this time I felt it was deserved. Richard and the rest of the crew were respectful, efficient, and easy to communicate with.
Everybody, I am indebted. Unpredictable blasts of wind didn't deter the Swift Shift Van Lines movers from finishing the job. They showcased their power and adaptability by taking precautions to ensure that my items would remain undamaged in the face of the high winds. They can handle the challenges and unpredictable weather because they are careful and have plans.
The team arrived at my old address in the morning, and they were ready to work immediately. I had a lot of small boxes and bags that needed to be moved into my new condo out of the city. I am satisfied with the result, and nothing was damaged during the entire move today.
My experience with these guys was exactly what I needed. They showed up early and immediately got to work disassembling a complicated home gym setup I owned. They handled all the tools and hardware like professionals. I really appreciated that they confirmed the drop-off location and inventory list multiple times. All the things were accounted for and undamaged upon arrival.
