I thought that would complicate everything, but the movers followed my labeling system and made sure it all went exactly where I needed. There was no confusion at all. I didn't have to explain things twice, and that made a big difference by the end of the day.

I paid for $4000 for 800 cubic square feet and they only allowed me 640 when their subcontracted moving company arrived. We measured ourselves and they told us to contact Swift which claims no responsibility once your items are turned over to the moving company that they contract out to. This is the most deceitful company I have ever dealt with, they also did damage to our flooring and are completely unprofessional. Don't let the good reviews fool you, you will pay double. Rent a U-Haul and save thousands and save yourself the entire headache of dealing with such an unprofessional company.
I had some artwork that needed extra care during the move. Joseph asked me about it beforehand and made sure it was packed separately so it would not shift around in the truck.
I moved last weekend, and these guys did a great job. Three men walked in and started working without me having to explain anything. By noon, everything was settled, and I was ready to unpack.
I booked them just to move a few bulky items, and didn’t expect much beyond basic hauling. But Swift Shift Van Lines team took time to wrap and secure each item. They also checked that our floor wouldn’t get scratched while bringing things in. What could’ve been a slapdash job was actually handled with serious care and attention!
Before using Swift Shift Van Lines, my moving experience was terrible. The customer care representatives were informative on the call and gave me up-to-date information at a fair price.
