I needed a same-state move done quickly, and they delivered. Everything was loaded, transported, and unloaded in record time, yet nothing looked rushed. Each item was safe, which made me feel relieved and grateful.
When I moved out of a two-bedroom apartment, I hired movers who were fantastic. They were very careful with my fragile possessions and protected each piece of furniture with its own cover. Observing the process of loading the truck was like to solving a puzzle because everything fit perfectly and efficiently. They helped me reassemble my bed at the new place and there were no dents or damages.
Communication throughout the move was one of the biggest issues. I was not kept informed when the schedule changed and had to make several calls for updates. This created unnecessary stress. I think the customer service could be improved significantly.
Thanks to Swift Shift Van Lines assistance, the change went off without a hitch. Two men arrived on time, were very attentive, and quickly and effectively covered my furniture.
When our family of 7 had to relocate across the state, the thought of packing up years of memories was overwhelming. But their moving crew turned the entire process into a smooth experience. Cannot review Swift Shift for moving services as they are just brokers with good sales people who tell you they are giving you a very good price because otherwise one of their trucks will be heading back to Florida empty, thus you are getting a very good deal, but you need to decide quickly. Then they make you pay 30% non-refundable deposit, which is basically their cut for booking the order. What I mostly hold them responsible for is lying to get your business and then contracting the moving companies who leave customers with long lasting frustration, disappointment, loss of trust in the good and reliable service, and damaged and lost items. In our case it was alphamovingservices.com. Once we signed the contract we were directed to the contracted moving company that told us they have their own rules. The lesson learned if we ever need to move again. But for the starters, my first piece of advice would be to hire small company or private movers who you will directly work with from start to finish and who do not make you pay deposits that are not refundable after 48 hrs of booking. Pay attention to not so bright reviews as I'm very puzzled with how Swift Shift got so many when they are not after all just a broker and not the moving company.
They never missed a beat, were really courteous, and noticed the tiniest details. My belongings were loaded into the van in a timely and cautious manner.
I was so worried about moving my big house with all my stuff. They sent 5 strong movers who were really nice. They wrapped everything carefully. My piano was huge, but they moved it without a scratch. Everything arrived on time, and nothing was broken. I’m so happy!
10 out of 10 for how the move turned out. I was helping set up for a small family event and needed help moving supplies to the venue. The crew came early, took a quick look around, and got right to it. Each item was packed with care and loaded in the order I suggested. They didn’t slow down or ask for instructions over and over.
