A friend told me about this company, so I gave them a try for my house move. The guys were polite and focused on moving the heavy oak wardrobe first. It was a good experience from start to finish.
They helped me haul my whole office to a new spot with zero issues. The team was right on time, polite, and treated our gear like gold. I really dug their attention to detail when packing and labeling boxes. I'm shouting it from the rooftops – these guys are the real deal for any business move.
My move was scheduled during a heatwave, and I was honestly worried the crew would have to take frequent breaks. But they worked with steady focus, stayed hydrated, and still got everything done on time without cutting corners. Bravo to them!
They are a very professional company to do the move with as my high-rise move had a lot of problems to deal with but Swift Shift Van Lines solved them all. They organized the use of the elevator, they packed up the truck in an efficient manner and they got all of it done in record time. Absolutely fantastic!
I am so glad I hired this team because they made my move look like a breeze. The truck was plenty big enough for all my clothes and kitchen supplies. They handled my television with a lot of care and made sure it was stable for the drive. It was a very smooth experience from start to finish. I paid for $4000 for 800 cubic square feet and they only allowed me 640 when their subcontracted moving company arrived. We measured ourselves and they told us to contact Swift which claims no responsibility once your items are turned over to the moving company that they contract out to. This is the most deceitful company I have ever dealt with, they also did damage to our flooring and are completely unprofessional. Don't let the good reviews fool you, you will pay double. Rent a U-Haul and save thousands and save yourself the entire headache of dealing with such an unprofessional company.
For my move out of state, these guys were a huge help. I had a bit of a mess with my building's freight elevator being out of service, but they just rolled with it and got everything up the stairs without any complaints.
Andrew and John were efficient and quick, but they also did a really good job. They know how to get things done fast and well.
Cannot review Swift Shift for moving services as they are just brokers with good sales people who tell you they are giving you a very good price because otherwise one of their trucks will be heading back to Florida empty, thus you are getting a very good deal, but you need to decide quickly. Then they make you pay 30% non-refundable deposit, which is basically their cut for booking the order. What I mostly hold them responsible for is lying to get your business and then contracting the moving companies who leave customers with long lasting frustration, disappointment, loss of trust in the good and reliable service, and damaged and lost items. In our case it was alphamovingservices.com. Once we signed the contract we were directed to the contracted moving company that told us they have their own rules. The lesson learned if we ever need to move again. But for the starters, my first piece of advice would be to hire small company or private movers who you will directly work with from start to finish and who do not make you pay deposits that are not refundable after 48 hrs of booking. Pay attention to not so bright reviews as I'm very puzzled with how Swift Shift got so many when they are not after all just a broker and not the moving company.
