I contacted Swift Shift Van Lines for a same-day move of my studio apartment. The guys showed up fast, packed my bed, TV, and kitchen stuff, and were done before evening. Nothing broke, and the timing was perfect.
DON'T DO IT ! We came across swift shift van lines and it all started out good. Gave them the estimated inventory and they gave an estimated affordable quote. Robert Collins, the "senior relocation specialist" played us like a fiddle. Bunk beds apparently only have one matress. King beds don't have a box spring or a bedframe. Those are things they hit you with after you give them the deposit. So I price jumped drastically. Specifically, $2000.00 more than we planned. Jordan, the quality assurance associate, wasn't trying to help us at all. All he was focused on is getting the "rest of the deposit". Deposits are "non-refundable" so if you decide that this service is just not for you, they just keep your money. Even if you tell them that you just simply can not afford their services, they don't give your money back. They will drain you. Website says no surprises and it was a lie. Talked to the "manager" Olivia, told her we are no longer interested in your services and you can keep the initial deposit. All she said was deposits are non-refundable". Apparently, we only paid half the deposit up front so she that there was going to be another charge. Olivia didn't try to make things right, or offer any money back. Also, they will take your routing and account number off of your check and try to process unauthorized payments. At the end of the day, we canceled everything. They won't see another cent of our hard earned money. Now, I'm moving everything myself, just me, my girlfriend, our 6 month year old baby, 5 year old, and 9 year old. I do not recommended this company to anybody.
We bought a fridge and Swift Shift Van Lines did a fantastic job picking it up and delivering it to our place. Made the whole processes simple and care free. Thanks and would definitely use again.
Andrew and John were efficient and quick, but they also did a really good job. They know how to get things done fast and well.
Our family moved from a duplex to a single house in the next county last weekend. We had a lot of stuff to move, like the kids' toys and heavy bunk beds, plus our washer and dryer. Swift Shift Van Lines sent a team of four guys who showed up right on schedule. They took the bunk beds apart in just a few minutes and kept all the screws together. I liked how they put the toys in clear bags so we could find them easily later. They even hooked the washer back up at the new house and cleaned out the dryer vent for us. The kids were able to play while the movers worked around them. It was a very smooth day
I recently downsized from a house to a condo and had way more to donate or throw away than I thought. I was worried it would slow everything down, but the movers didn't make a fuss. They helped load donation boxes separately and made sure everything I was keeping got handled carefully. I felt supported the whole day, and that made letting go of things easier.
It is rare to find a company that is this organized. Every person on the crew knew their job, and they worked together like a well-oiled machine.
My favorite part was how they handled the stairs. My new apartment has a narrow staircase, and I thought my sofa wouldn’t fit. They worked it around the bend without scratching the walls once.
I've moved several times, and this was the easiest so far. The team worked steadily and kept items organized. They packed and loaded the items without delay and placed the boxes where I asked. Swift Shift Van Lines handled the process professionally and made it simple.
They wrapped everything up way earlier than I expected. They kept things in order and moved them step by step. I didn’t have to keep checking, and all my things were safely at my new place.
