John worked with his crew during my grandma’s move. He treated her stuff gently, and she kept saying how respectful he was. She even offered them cookies before they left.
I had a very serious and frustrating experience with Swift Shift Van Lines and the moving company they brokered. After major issues during delivery—including erratic and unsafe behavior by movers they literally hired from Craigslist, unreliable delivery timelines which caused us to have to sleep on the floor of an empty house for a week, damage to property and belongings, and pressure to sign paperwork without proper verification and they left without me signing the paperwork which leads me to believe they may have forged my signature (swift shift has still not confirmed they have retrieve this paperwork which is either not signed or bares a false signature)—I attempted multiple times to resolve these matters directly with Swift Shift. They have since stopped responding entirely. I have spoken with attorneys who advised that while the situation appears clearly criminal, the cost of pursuing legal action would likely exceed any recovery. Because of that, the most realistic option left to me is to warn others publicly. This review is written so future customers can make an informed decision and understand the risks involved when using this broker.
A lovely experience from start to finish. Their movers planned and executed our commercial move perfectly. We would hire them again in a heartbeat!
I hired them to just move my oversized, heavy safe. That’s it. Most companies said no or quoted a crazy price. Swift Shift Van Lines said, "Sure, we do that." They brought the right equipment, moved it from my basement to my new basement office, and bolted it down for me. They didn’t mind that it was a weird, small job. They just did it perfectly.
I was expecting some hidden fee or something, but nope. Swift Shift Van Lines was straight up from the start. The movers were actually friendly too, which was weird because most movers look miserable. Would hire them again.
Everything I asked for and needed was noted by the project manager. He was conscious to adhere to them. I salute them!
My favorite part was how they handled the stairs. My new apartment has a narrow staircase, and I thought my sofa wouldn’t fit. They worked it around the bend without scratching the walls once.
James made my most recent transfer simple and affordable. Despite the several changes to the plan, they demonstrated remarkable tolerance and support while efficiently coordinating the transition. I have no plans to use them again very soon, but they will be at the ready in case I need to.
The moving crew handled the relocation in a very organized manner. They carefully prepared the furniture before loading and kept the household boxes arranged properly. The team worked efficiently throughout the day. Everything was unloaded carefully at the new home. Overall, the process felt smooth and professional.
Our relocation was trouble-free because of Swift Shift Van Lines packing and moving staff. The crew, led by David, showed up on time, handled my family's belongings carefully, and cleaned up the mess of packing after themselves neatly. Their packing skills left me surprised. Recommended!
