I don’t usually leave reviews, but this time I felt it was deserved. Richard and the rest of the crew were respectful, efficient, and easy to communicate with.
I moved last weekend, and these guys did a great job. Three men walked in and started working without me having to explain anything. By noon, everything was settled, and I was ready to unpack.
This moving company exceeded all my expectations. The team was efficient and handled all my belongings with the utmost care. They were also very friendly and had a great sense of humor, which made the whole moving process much more enjoyable. They offered to help me unpack some of the boxes at my new place, which was a huge help.
Moved into an apartment building with strict rules, so I thought the day would get messy. This crew from Swift Shift Van Lines sorted things out with the building staff and kept the work moving without delays. They used the right entry area and worked through the shared spaces without creating trouble. The team stayed focused and didn’t slow down once they started.
I was very pleased with the attention they gave to me and my things. I had no trouble getting my couch, espresso table and decorations neatly packed. Everything was done properly, the labels of each box were checked and the walkways around my house were kept free so I could set up later.
We had several bulky items that seemed difficult to move, but the team handled them confidently. Their coordination and attention to safety really stood out.
Right after signing the contract we were funneled off to subcontractors. One in New York and another for delivery in North Carolina. The subcontractors who did the pick up swindled my son out of an additional $363.75 saying more than our 300 cubic feet was used because they couldn't stack boxes on top of furniture. However, when the moving truck arrived in North Carolina, all of the boxes were stacked on furniture in the back of the truck. Second, we paid for packing and unpacking but the guy who delivered was by himself and said he didn't have time to unpack anything. Therefore, we are owed 1/2 of the $300 packing fee.
My family recently moved from AZ to SD, and we were impressed with their service. The team was friendly and respectful, and they took great care in packing our fragile items, such as glassware and artwork. They used special packing supplies, such as dish pack boxes and paper padding, to keep everything intact and secure during the move.
I am happy to give a solid 5 stars for the service provided. They helped me get all 3 of my storage units emptied and consolidated into one shipment, which saved me a lot of time and extra effort.
I want to give Swift Shift Van Lines a 5-star review. They went above and beyond to help my family move. The crew was very professional and made sure everything went smoothly. I couldn’t be happier with their service. I will always recommend them to anyone who needs movers. Thank you so much, and God bless!
