Don’t be fooled by this company. They are not a true moving company. They outsource all of their movers. They sweet talked me, made everything sound great, claimed I was getting a bunch of discounts, but then they ended up charging me more than quoted. They sent three guys from a local moving company called Jackson Movers. They were awful. Two of the guys didn’t speak English and the foreman, who did speak English, disappeared for most of the packing, so I couldn’t even communicate with the guys packing my stuff. The first thing they did was drop one of my expensive crystals and then claimed that is was already broken. I ended up having to pack the crystals myself because they were doing such a piss poor job. They dumped most of my things into boxes, they didn’t label any of the boxes, and they didn’t end up taking half of my stuff. I had to rent a U-Haul and tow dolly for my car and pack and load the rest of my things, which cost me an extra $1,600. Then, they didn’t show up at my house where I moved to for a week. The moving company had changed once again, and this time the movers were Champion Movers. The foreman was a lazy fat cow who only brought in a few things and then sat in his truck for the rest of the time and let two other guys unload everything. The only good thing about the unloading was a local guy they hired named Joe. He was awesome. The foreman refused to take apart my desk and move it into my office so Joe stayed behind and dismantled my desk and moved it to my office and put it back together. He then also helped me move over a dozen plastic totes to my storage shed in my backyard. The foreman refused to unload them there because he said it was more than 75 ft and would be an extra charge. I had labeled all of my crystal boxes with fragile labels, which were completely ignored, many of the boxes were upside down, crushed, or smashed. Once I started unpacking things I found a lot of broken items. This moving experience was the worst I’ve ever had. DO NOT HIRE SWIFT SHIFT MOVERS.
The boxes full of printed materials, racks, and folding equipment needed to be moved out of a temporary convention center. I didn’t expect the crew to be that prepared, but they were already sorting items the second they walked in. We were out faster than planned, and the equipment was ready to use again.
I needed a long distance move from Florida to North Carolina and I was scared about my antique dresser that my great aunt left me. Swift Shift Van Lines handled the whole thing without me driving behind the truck the entire way, like I originally planned to do. Phil put padding on every corner of that dresser and then wrapped it again with a blanket on top. The truck arrived in North Carolina three days later, and the driver called me when he was thirty minutes out so I could meet him there. It was a great service.
Thanks to William for helping us schedule a last-minute move after another company canceled. We had a mix of boxes, furniture, and a few fragile kitchen items. The team arrived early and stayed efficient the entire time. They packed smartly and communicated well throughout. It was honestly a relief after the stress of rescheduling everything so quickly. Grateful for how it turned out.
Everything was well coordinated from the booking to the move. I received an email confirming the date and time of the crew's arrival, an invoice breakdown and a reminder of items to pack. The crew arrived promptly and worked around the clock on moving day until the job was completed safely. I can't say enough nice things about them!
I'm feeling uneasy about moving into a new house after living in the same house for years, but the crew made it seem easy. They had to pack our furniture carefully, handle any fragile boxes and remain organized throughout the day. It was a much easier process than I could have ever imagined. I would definitely use their services again.
They did a great job of packing everything. For each room, they utilized a different color of box, which made unloading simple. They take pleasure in their job, as seen by the fact that everything is immaculate.
I recommend this company to anyone in need of secure relocation assistance. The staff helped me take my belongings downstairs and took good care of my TV and furnishings (unlike other firms who chuck stuff in the vehicle). They arrived 10 minutes early. He assisted me in moving all of the furniture into the rooms of the new home when we moved into our new house, and he removed his shoes upstairs to protect my newly installed carpeting.
Finding dependable help for a move is not always easy. This crew handled the job for me, and I'm thankful I called them. The house had boxes everywhere, and I honestly didn't know where to start that morning. Having people there to take care of the moving part helped a lot. I could focus on getting my paperwork and keys sorted while they handled the rest. The whole move was much easier than trying to do it alone.
