Great Service, overall! I booked them on short notice and was not sure how it would go. Swift Shift Van Lines still showed up at the time they gave me, and they worked through everything without rushing.
It was necessary to relocate a 2-bedroom home to NY. Swift Shift Van Lines was the greatest moving firm to hire. On the day of my relocation, the crew showed up ready to work. Before placing it on their vehicle, they wrapped every piece of furniture in blankets and tape. They took the same amount of care with my boxes. I was amazed at how skillfully they managed the move.
Living in a busy downtown area makes parking a huge truck almost impossible. Somehow, the driver found a spot and worked quickly to avoid blocking the bus lane. My heavy mahogany wardrobe made it inside without touching a single doorframe. The guys were incredibly helpful and handled the stuff with care. I felt lucky to have such an experienced team helping me out on a hectic Saturday morning. They were able to transfer the things on the same afternoon safely.
Instead of using single-use plastics, they utilized reusable boxes and moving blankets. I admired their efforts to be sustainable!
BEWARE. Stay away from this company. They will take your deposit and the day of the move they more than double the price of the move. I specifically told the broker we had 2 10 ft sofas it’s in my contract and the movers said they take up too much space. It was extortion the day of the move. I guess they make there business by keeping your deposit. I paid by credit card and I will fight them. HORRIBLE COMPANY. STAY AWAY.
My experience went safely and satisfactorily with these movers. They do their job right, hiring them again soon for the next shifting help. I would absolutely use them again!

They were a godsend when I needed extra moving services on the scene last minute! They managed to fit me into their calendar, were punctual, and got things done quickly. I can't thank them enough!
