Swift Shift Van Lines offered top-notch services. I hired them the first time but they didn't fail to impress me. My fragile was very cautiously packed and labeled with fragile stickers.
Communication throughout the move was one of the biggest issues. I was not kept informed when the schedule changed and had to make several calls for updates. This created unnecessary stress. I think the customer service could be improved significantly.
Honestly, I was not expecting it to go this smoothly. The whole move was done faster than I thought, and the guys were very easy to deal with.
I moved my dad’s tool sets from TN to SC. The movers used small carts for the heavy boxes and kept the parts together so he could find them later.
The movers were super friendly and easy to talk to. They made the experience less stressful by keeping things light. It was nice to have a team that not only worked hard but also made me feel at ease.
I’m very thankful to Johnson and his moving squad for helping me move my office from MD to CT. They were very fast and efficient, and they made the move smooth and easy. They helped me move my heavy office chair, which was very hard to maneuver. They also moved my desk, computer, printer, and files without any issues. They were very careful with my documents and data. They packed them in folders and boxes, and they secured them with locks and passwords.

I was nervous at first, but the movers handled everything with total awareness. They listened carefully, packed with intention, and didn’t rush through anything. I could tell they’ve moved specialty items before. Honestly, the whole experience felt more like a partnership than just a service.
Swift Shift Van Lines is a moving Broker. Something their agent did not tell us when we were on the phone. The agent also said our belongings would be stored in the state we were moving to; the mover that arrived said our belonging were going to be stored in another state. Also the agent under estimated the space we would need for our belongings, so the initial price was acceptable; when the mover arrived the space needed and price went up by alot. The link for the estimate expired by the time the mover arrived (something they do not inform you of). The mover showed up at 815pm on the second day, within the two day window. They contacted us several times moving the pick up time; but showing up that late is not good business management or respectful to the customer. When we were told the new moving cost estimate; we attempted to call Swift Shift Van Lines and were going to cancel and see about a refund, but no one answered. We would not under any circumstance recommend Swift Shift Van Lines.
Everything went smoothly, and I'm extremely pleased with how they handled the relocation. Very Smooth Transition!

After a short walkthrough, they began working and kept things moving at a steady rate. I checked in occasionally, but there was no need to supervise closely. They handled the responsibilities professionally and stayed consistent. The day ended without issues or delays. Based on my experience, I would recommend them to others planning a move.
