It was a pleasure working with Edward during my recent relocation across the state. The communication was clear from the start, and the price they quoted me was exactly what I paid at the end of the day.
DO NOT USE THEM!! they do not tell you the small details that one needs to know, e.g. you cannot update your invoice list once you give it to them, then when the movers show up, they want to charge you more for anything that's not on the list. i refused service because they wanted to charge me DOUBLE the price agreed. they also do not communicate box standards, and want to charge you more for anything that doesn't fit said standard. horrible communication and they will rip you off!!
It is difficult to move while two children are racing around. Without asking me to handle the problem for them, the team managed to get everything done despite the chaos at my residence.
I was lied to from the beginning by Nicole Jones. I specifically asked if they were brokers, I was assured they have their own movers and trucks. MAP movers showed up. Neither moving men spoke English, one could barely see so I had to fill out my own billing paperwork having no idea what I was doing. They arrived at 530 pm and didn't finish until after midnight. All kinds of extra charges amounting to several thousand dollars over my initial bill. Jordan at swift shift was dismissive of me during a call to update my items to be moved. He never officially updated my list so the movers charged me extra for everything Jordan failed to add to my list. I can not get a delivery date from anyone. So I have no idea when my things will be arriving. I have emailed repeatedly with no response. Just a mess. Moving cross country is already stressful, but I couldn't have chosen a worse moving company to deal with.
James and Michael provided excellent communication throughout the move. They kept me informed about the progress, from the initial assessment to the final delivery. Their clear instructions made it easy for me to prepare and plan accordingly.
This is a perfect circumstance for me. They were pleasant to work with, showed up when they said they would, and got the job done fast but efficiently.
Moving with this company was a breeze. The movers were well-organized and efficient, and they were also very friendly and helpful. They took great care with all the items and ensured no damage occurred during the relocation. Can't ask for a better service.
The two movers arrived early and immediately started wrapping the fragile items. They efficiently loaded a whole truck of stuff in three hours. They worked non-stop until the last box was placed in the new garage. They truly sped up my timeline significantly. This team was focused, fast, and very efficient.
These guys are the real deal. I had a last-minute move and called 3 other companies, who were booked. Swift Shift Van Lines had a cancellation and fit me in. The crew worked until 7 PM to get me finished. They moved my large sectional sofa up a tight staircase by taking it apart first. It was a long day for them, but they never complained. I'm so grateful.
Despite my worries about cancellation fees, the office staff was courteous. Instead of costing me a lot, they helped me find a new date that suited my schedule. Moving day began with the same optimism. The entire experience felt supportive rather than transactional. In a field with strict regulations, I appreciated such flexibility.
