Our big dresser was really heavy and hard to move, but these movers had a clever trick. They put these things under it that made it slide easily across the floor without leaving any scratches on our beautiful new hardwood.
Relocating our small office seemed like it would be a nightmare, but it turned out to be incredibly easy. The movers labeled everything, so it went to the right desks and even set up the heavier equipment for us. They kept a steady pace without rushing and made sure the workday wasn't disrupted any more than necessary. The team's organization was impressive.
I had to move early in the morning because of a sudden plan change. The team from Swift Shift Van Lines came right on time and didn’t rush anything. They packed all our stuff in a way that it would not get damaged during the loading or transferring. Honestly, I was stressed, but the team made it easy.
Right after signing the contract we were funneled off to subcontractors. One in New York and another for delivery in North Carolina. The subcontractors who did the pick up swindled my son out of an additional $363.75 saying more than our 300 cubic feet was used because they couldn't stack boxes on top of furniture. However, when the moving truck arrived in North Carolina, all of the boxes were stacked on furniture in the back of the truck. Second, we paid for packing and unpacking but the guy who delivered was by himself and said he didn't have time to unpack anything. Therefore, we are owed 1/2 of the $300 packing fee.
We needed to move our furniture out of a home and have it dropped off at two different destinations: one, storage and the other, our new home. The movers were very attentive to our list and made no mistakes. They clearly marked every item, double-checked what was happening while loading, and stayed organized throughout. We liked how everything went smoothly!
Swift Shift Van Lines Movers has the best movers crew for the service; they have all been awesome when I hired them. Their staff was punctual, skilled and dedicated to the work. I have nothing to complain about from the service. But there's always room for improvement, so I'd only tell them to keep up the good work.
I had to get out of my apartment way faster than I thought, and these guys actually showed up on a Sunday morning with only two days' notice. I was still throwing stuff in bags when they got there, but they didn’t complain or judge the mess. They just started grabbing boxes and even helped me wrap my big floor mirror so it wouldn't crack. Super-fast, super nice, and they didn't charge me a 'panic fee' or anything crazy.
Moving day made me nervous, but Richard and the staff put me at ease. David carefully labeled and packed my many boxes into the car. He avoided scuffs when loading my sofa through my small front entry, which I appreciated.
The moving crew handled the relocation in a very organized manner. They carefully prepared the furniture before loading and kept the household boxes arranged properly. The team worked efficiently throughout the day. Everything was unloaded carefully at the new home. Overall, the process felt smooth and professional.
I was nervous about my long-distance move, but everything arrived on time and in great shape. They wrapped furniture securely and didn’t rush the process. Very thankful for how simple they made it.
