Our big dresser was really heavy and hard to move, but these movers had a clever trick. They put these things under it that made it slide easily across the floor without leaving any scratches on our beautiful new hardwood.
My move involved over 60 boxes of delicate glassware and a very heavy industrial sewing machine from my craft studio. I was so worried about the vibration of the truck breaking my vintage vases. Brett used extra padding and stacked the crates so nothing could shift during the turns. It was a relief to unpack everything and find zero broken pieces. If you have fragile hobby equipment, you should definitely give them a call.
I was thoroughly impressed at how efficiently the moving crew tackled the challenge of transporting things to a high-rise apartment (on the 5th floor). Since the elevator was out due to power outage, I was a bit concerned that they would put things off, but they took the task head-on and safely carried everything up into my apartment through the stairs. Not a single piece was scratched or harmed in any way. I am grateful beyond measure!
This company really has a customer service mentality. The movers were courteous, responsive and had a mind to ensuring my satisfaction. They were intent on quality, which was clear during the move.
The movers were courteous enough to maintain cleanliness during my recent move. Since it was raining and they had to move in and out of the house for loading, they fetched carpets and mats and put them all over the house. After they were done, they did a final check to see if my place looked clean too. I honestly value their generosity!
They were a first-rate crew. They were prompt, careful, and polite while packing our house. All in all, we had a great time and are glad we went with the full-service bundle and transportation. Highly recommended.
To be completely honest, I only picked Swift Shift Van Lines because they were the cheapest option on the list I got from a friend. I did not expect much if I am being real. But the crew that showed up worked harder than any movers I have ever seen. They loaded the entire truck in two hours and then drove forty-five minutes to my new place and unloaded everything in another hour and a half. The price stayed the same as the quote, and nothing was damaged. Sometimes the cheapest option is actually the best option.
From the first interaction to the final drop-off, things were well managed. David was calm, clear, and easy to work with, which helped a lot.
Honestly, I didn’t expect much since it was a small job. But these guys treated it like a full move. They packed, labeled, and stacked everything neatly inside. It took less than 45 minutes, and they were professional the whole time.
Our representative walked us through the entire process, and there were no surprises He made sure, we did an accurate inventory and they were responsive and available for us at all times.
