Despite providing an accurate listing of all our box numbers and furniture, Swift Shift Van Lines tried charging us nearly double the original estimated price, even though our original and moving day inventories were almost identical. We were disappointed by their inaccurate cost estimation, which caused twice as much financial stress on moving day. Regarding their delivery process, we received inconsistent information from different representatives at Swift Shift Van Lines: 1) In the initial phone call, we were told that the average delivery time is 3-5 days after pickup. 2) On the moving day, the mover said delivery could occur in 3 days. 3) One day after pickup, another representative said delivery would occur in 1-5 business days. 4) In the last email communication, another representative informed us that delivery would take 5-15 business days. As of today, it is Day 5 after the pickup, and we still have no information regarding the delivery. If you don't want to experience difficult times in an empty apartment without your belongings, do NOT work with Swift Shift Van Lines.
Really pleased with how things went with the team from Swift Shift Van Lines. The movers arrived on time and got right to work. They were friendly and careful with my things. I appreciated how they didn’t rush, especially with fragile items. The whole move was done in a few hours, and all items arrived without any issues. It was a much easier experience than I expected. Happy to have chosen them!

Here's how my move played out. I was relocating household items from one living space to another. When the crew arrived, they took a look around and decided what should be moved first. One of the movers secured a loose panel before picking it up. I stayed nearby while they worked through the rooms. Items were handled one at a time. I did not feel lost during the process.
The movers did an excellent job: the ones who packed up and unloaded our previous house were careful with our breakables, and the ones who moved us into our new home took their time dismantling and reassembling our beds.
What a fantastic group of people! Their professionalism, care and speed were evident as they skillfully relocated our belongings to a third-floor apartment. To make sure they could meet us when we were ready, they checked in with us the day before our visit to see what time we were expecting to arrive. And they did! Almost a week before the event, I made my reservation.
I had James and David get my grand piano from a NY storage facility, and it finally got here, and I was so happy. They took such extra care to cover and protect it from damage, which amazed me. Their hard work is admirable. I love them so much!
I was really panicking about moving day, but the movers helped a lot! They were well equipped with blankets, plastic sheeting and everything they needed. They packed the fragile items very carefully and they marked a few boxes for me, so that I could locate the important ones later. All staff were respectful and efficient with no time wasted.
I couldn’t be more pleased about my experience with them. Edwin and the team were dedicated workers and took the job seriously. Moreover, they did not take any unnecessarily long breaks, thanks to which, the move wrapped up within the quoted time. I couldn’t have asked for anything else!
