We relocated from DE to FL after buying a home abroad. The team packed our belongings into containers, managed transport arrangements, and provided updates throughout the trip.
The movers packed each one using double padding and wooden crates. Customs paperwork was prepared ahead of time, avoiding any delays. Every piece arrived safely and exactly on schedule. It all worked out well!
I don’t usually leave reviews, but this time I felt it was deserved. Richard and the rest of the crew were respectful, efficient, and easy to communicate with.
Right after signing the contract we were funneled off to subcontractors. One in New York and another for delivery in North Carolina. The subcontractors who did the pick up swindled my son out of an additional $363.75 saying more than our 300 cubic feet was used because they couldn't stack boxes on top of furniture. However, when the moving truck arrived in North Carolina, all of the boxes were stacked on furniture in the back of the truck. Second, we paid for packing and unpacking but the guy who delivered was by himself and said he didn't have time to unpack anything. Therefore, we are owed 1/2 of the $300 packing fee.
Jack and James handled our belongings with the utmost care, working swiftly, efficiently, and attentively as they rearranged the furniture, causing no damage. I'm grateful for everything, and I can't imagine having anyone other than Swift Shift Van Lines handle the transfer of your house.
It was very easy to move across the country because of Swift Shift Van Lines! From the first meeting, when they planned our transfer, to the arrival of our belongings. The team was considerate, on time, and cautious with our furnishings. No object broke because of their extreme caution, and they advised me on furnishing our new home!
They had clearly marked all of the boxes by room, and unpacking at the new house was surprisingly quick and efficient!
I had to coordinate a move while traveling out of town, so I could not be physically present. I trusted Swift Shift Van Lines with access to my apartment. They kept me updated through messages and photos during the process. I appreciated seeing progress in real time. When I returned to the new place, all 18 boxes and furniture pieces were exactly where I requested.
The movers were courteous enough to maintain cleanliness during my recent move. Since it was raining and they had to move in and out of the house for loading, they fetched carpets and mats and put them all over the house. After they were done, they did a final check to see if my place looked clean too. I honestly value their generosity!
David and Eric maintained cleanliness around my house when I hired them to move my couch. They disposed of the wasted packing material and also double checked on their way out to see if they’d gotten rid of everything. Bravo!
