It was a pleasure working with Edward during my recent relocation across the state. The communication was clear from the start, and the price they quoted me was exactly what I paid at the end of the day.
Before moving, I needed to get rid of a lot of old basement junk and broken furniture. I added their haul-away service to the moving package. The crew quickly removed all the unwanted items right from the basement. This saved me a lot of time and heavy lifting before the actual moving day.
I paid for $4000 for 800 cubic square feet and they only allowed me 640 when their subcontracted moving company arrived. We measured ourselves and they told us to contact Swift which claims no responsibility once your items are turned over to the moving company that they contract out to. This is the most deceitful company I have ever dealt with, they also did damage to our flooring and are completely unprofessional. Don't let the good reviews fool you, you will pay double. Rent a U-Haul and save thousands and save yourself the entire headache of dealing with such an unprofessional company.
I needed a same-state move done quickly, and they delivered. Everything was loaded, transported, and unloaded in record time, yet nothing looked rushed. Each item was safe, which made me feel relieved and grateful.
Thanks to Swift Shift Van Lines dedication, efficiency, timeliness, friendliness, and professionalism, our move was a pleasure. Not only were Andrew and Joe the most pleasant coworkers, but they were also exceptionally gifted, generous, and enthusiastic about their profession.
DO NOT USE THEM!! they do not tell you the small details that one needs to know, e.g. you cannot update your invoice list once you give it to them, then when the movers show up, they want to charge you more for anything that's not on the list. i refused service because they wanted to charge me DOUBLE the price agreed. they also do not communicate box standards, and want to charge you more for anything that doesn't fit said standard. horrible communication and they will rip you off!!
Compared to a long-distance move, our cross-town move was complicated due to narrow streets, tight building schedules, and a barely functional elevator. The movers handled everything effortlessly, getting us moved in record time while remaining calm and efficient. We're happy to trust them!
We were successfully moved in today by Anthony and his coworkers. Everything is in its proper place in the house; nothing has broken. They were all friendly and helpful.
Swift Shift Van Lines Movers has the best movers crew for the service; they have all been awesome when I hired them. Their staff was punctual, skilled and dedicated to the work. I have nothing to complain about from the service. But there's always room for improvement, so I'd only tell them to keep up the good work.
Swift Shift Van Lines was suggested to me, and they delivered as promised. The service I received from Michael from the first call through the estimate and moving day was outstanding. The week before, he made sure I was doing okay, which was reassuring. And on that potentially tense day, he and another person kept things lighthearted and even comical. They were cheerful, and the rain was of no concern to them. Much appreciation, everyone!
