Movers were concerned about their safety during the epidemic. Hand sanitizer was provided to each mover and they worked so professionally and cheerfully as a team. It was a commendable move.
The experience with Swift Shift Van Lines was better than I expected. They arrived prepared, with the right tools and packing materials. Richard kept checking on the fragile pieces and made sure everything was secured properly before loading it. They were polite, worked steadily, and followed every request I made.
BEWARE. Stay away from this company. They will take your deposit and the day of the move they more than double the price of the move. I specifically told the broker we had 2 10 ft sofas it’s in my contract and the movers said they take up too much space. It was extortion the day of the move. I guess they make there business by keeping your deposit. I paid by credit card and I will fight them. HORRIBLE COMPANY. STAY AWAY.
The movers arrived and packed everything for me the day before the move. They were friendly, efficient, and quick. On moving day, they promptly began working. Despite the difficulty in finding parking, they managed to get everything into my new apartment. I would recommend this company to everyone, as they made the entire moving process very easy.
I highly recommend Swift Shift Van Lines. We were moving my son into a 3rd-floor dorm at State University. Parking was a nightmare, but they handled it. William and his partner carried that mini-fridge and the trunk full of textbooks up all those stairs. They were fast and friendly with all the students moving in around us. Made a chaotic day much smoother for us parents.

Ascending the staircase, two employees hauled a desk from our previous office, which had to have weighed three hundred pounds or more. They worked very hard without complaining or giving up. I appreciated that the customer service representative took the time to break down the costs for me so I could budget accordingly.

On moving day, our movers showed up on time and worked carefully. They were an hour faster than expected, and all of our furniture was in pristine shape when it arrived. We will definitely need them for our next move!
the worst movers ever they claimed we got a bunch of discounts, then never applied them. then we want to add a table and they charges us $900. we tried to ask why the table was so expensive, just yelled at us and ended the call. They also did the same thing to our friends also moving to Texas.
