I had to move storage boxes and old furniture from my garage to a storage unit. The movers worked steadily and stacked the unit so I can reach what I need later.
George and his crew managed their time really well. I was a bit skeptical at first, but packing, loading, delivery and unloading were all done timely. I had a comfortable transition all because of them!
Honestly, I didn’t expect it to go this smoothly. I had heard stories about delays and missing items from other companies, so I was already nervous. But these guys made it easy. They checked in the day before, came on time, and got started right away. I had packed things up the night before, and they didn’t mess with my system. They followed what I asked without turning it into a back-and-forth. It all felt simple and direct, which I appreciated.
Great Service, overall! I booked them on short notice and was not sure how it would go. Swift Shift Van Lines still showed up at the time they gave me, and they worked through everything without rushing.
The movers left packing materials, tape, and plastic wraps scattered all over my home. They didn’t bother cleaning up after themselves. I had to spend hours cleaning up the mess they left behind. For the price I paid, I expected them to at least leave my place in decent condition.
Solid 5 stars from my side because the whole thing was easier than I had built it up in my head. I had about 40 small items scattered around, and I thought it would turn into a mess, but they sorted everything out without asking too many questions. They kept things moving at a steady pace, and nothing felt rushed or careless. By the end, I was just glad it all worked out so smoothly.
The two movers arrived early and immediately started wrapping the fragile items. They efficiently loaded a whole truck of stuff in three hours. They worked non-stop until the last box was placed in the new garage. They truly sped up my timeline significantly. This team was focused, fast, and very efficient.
Swift Shift Van Lines is a moving Broker. Something their agent did not tell us when we were on the phone. The agent also said our belongings would be stored in the state we were moving to; the mover that arrived said our belonging were going to be stored in another state. Also the agent under estimated the space we would need for our belongings, so the initial price was acceptable; when the mover arrived the space needed and price went up by alot. The link for the estimate expired by the time the mover arrived (something they do not inform you of). The mover showed up at 815pm on the second day, within the two day window. They contacted us several times moving the pick up time; but showing up that late is not good business management or respectful to the customer. When we were told the new moving cost estimate; we attempted to call Swift Shift Van Lines and were going to cancel and see about a refund, but no one answered. We would not under any circumstance recommend Swift Shift Van Lines.
Just moved across town and was dreading it. But the movers made it an experience. They wrapped up my furniture and manhandled the halls like pros! They were obviously very competent, and the day passed quickly thanks to their friendly spirit. I was very happy I took their choice.
Swift Shift Van Lines saved the day during our last-minute relocation to the countryside. When our original movers canceled, they stepped in immediately. Their team packed, loaded, and delivered everything within 4 days. Nothing was damaged upon arrival. We couldn’t have asked for more!
