Instead of using single-use plastics, they utilized reusable boxes and moving blankets. I admired their efforts to be sustainable!
James made my most recent transfer simple and affordable. Despite the several changes to the plan, they demonstrated remarkable tolerance and support while efficiently coordinating the transition. I have no plans to use them again very soon, but they will be at the ready in case I need to.
Last month, I moved my collection of 100 framed photographs to a new gallery. Two people came by and helped me with the heavy wooden crates. They were careful with the glass and the corners of the frames. I liked how they organized the truck, so the largest items were in the back. The drive across town was fast, and they unloaded the art in an hour. My new gallery looks great, and I am happy with the results.

I was moving across the state for work, and I wasn’t sure how I’d get everything there in one piece. The movers I hired from here were amazing from start to finish. They wrapped up my furniture, electronics, and crockery carefully. They kept in touch throughout the move, and I felt reassured every step of the way. Relocating our small office seemed like it would be a nightmare, but it turned out to be incredibly easy. The movers labeled everything, so it went to the right desks and even set up the heavier equipment for us. They kept a steady pace without rushing and made sure the workday wasn't disrupted any more than necessary. The team's organization was impressive.
Despite providing an accurate listing of all our box numbers and furniture, Swift Shift Van Lines tried charging us nearly double the original estimated price, even though our original and moving day inventories were almost identical. We were disappointed by their inaccurate cost estimation, which caused twice as much financial stress on moving day. Regarding their delivery process, we received inconsistent information from different representatives at Swift Shift Van Lines: 1) In the initial phone call, we were told that the average delivery time is 3-5 days after pickup. 2) On the moving day, the mover said delivery could occur in 3 days. 3) One day after pickup, another representative said delivery would occur in 1-5 business days. 4) In the last email communication, another representative informed us that delivery would take 5-15 business days. As of today, it is Day 5 after the pickup, and we still have no information regarding the delivery. If you don't want to experience difficult times in an empty apartment without your belongings, do NOT work with Swift Shift Van Lines.
Really pleased with how things went with the team from Swift Shift Van Lines. The movers arrived on time and got right to work. They were friendly and careful with my things. I appreciated how they didn’t rush, especially with fragile items. The whole move was done in a few hours, and all items arrived without any issues. It was a much easier experience than I expected. Happy to have chosen them!
