They used high quality straps and padding to make sure the instrument stayed safe during the descent. The truck was packed tight, so nothing shifted during the drive across town. I appreciate the hard work they put into such a physical job. The price was also very fair for the effort.
My upright freezer was the hardest part of my state-to-suburbs move. The movers wrapped it in plastic to keep fingerprints off the surface and strapped it tightly in the truck. After setting it up in the utility room, I plugged it in, and it hummed like normal. It looked the same as before the move, spotless.
