A friend told me about this company, so I gave them a try for my house move. The guys were polite and focused on moving the heavy oak wardrobe first. It was a good experience from start to finish.
The booking process was easy, but everything went downhill on moving day. The crew arrived late, worked very slowly, and spent more time talking than moving furniture. What should have taken a couple of hours turned into almost five. Very disappointing service.
Swift Shift Van Lines is a moving Broker. Something their agent did not tell us when we were on the phone. The agent also said our belongings would be stored in the state we were moving to; the mover that arrived said our belonging were going to be stored in another state. Also the agent under estimated the space we would need for our belongings, so the initial price was acceptable; when the mover arrived the space needed and price went up by alot. The link for the estimate expired by the time the mover arrived (something they do not inform you of). The mover showed up at 815pm on the second day, within the two day window. They contacted us several times moving the pick up time; but showing up that late is not good business management or respectful to the customer. When we were told the new moving cost estimate; we attempted to call Swift Shift Van Lines and were going to cancel and see about a refund, but no one answered. We would not under any circumstance recommend Swift Shift Van Lines.
The movers packed each one using double padding and wooden crates. Customs paperwork was prepared ahead of time, avoiding any delays. Every piece arrived safely and exactly on schedule. It all worked out well!
They did a great job of packing everything. For each room, they utilized a different color of box, which made unloading simple. They take pleasure in their job, as seen by the fact that everything is immaculate.
Relocating our small office seemed like it would be a nightmare, but it turned out to be incredibly easy. The movers labeled everything, so it went to the right desks and even set up the heavier equipment for us. They kept a steady pace without rushing and made sure the workday wasn't disrupted any more than necessary. The team's organization was impressive.

The band of movers was really adept at splitting our furniture and boxes based on color-coded stickers we’d prepared. They didn’t mix up anything, which was a huge relief. They helped me fold my futon when I couldn’t figure out how to collapse it. The entire process was quick, efficient, and surprisingly enjoyable. Well worth every dollar.
