We had rain on moving day. The movers covered my sofa and chairs in plastic, so nothing got wet. Everything stayed dry. I really appreciated their preparation and care. I’d recommend them.
The overall experience was disappointing and did not meet my expectations. Communication was inconsistent, and the entire process felt poorly managed. I expected a much higher level of service.
Our family moved from a duplex to a single house in the next county last weekend. We had a lot of stuff to move, like the kids' toys and heavy bunk beds, plus our washer and dryer. Swift Shift Van Lines sent a team of four guys who showed up right on schedule. They took the bunk beds apart in just a few minutes and kept all the screws together. I liked how they put the toys in clear bags so we could find them easily later. They even hooked the washer back up at the new house and cleaned out the dryer vent for us. The kids were able to play while the movers worked around them. It was a very smooth day
I recommend this company to anyone in need of secure relocation assistance. The staff helped me take my belongings downstairs and took good care of my TV and furnishings (unlike other firms who chuck stuff in the vehicle). They arrived 10 minutes early. He assisted me in moving all of the furniture into the rooms of the new home when we moved into our new house, and he removed his shoes upstairs to protect my newly installed carpeting.
As soon as they arrived, they got to work without wasting time. They were skilled at slipping heavy objects through narrow openings without being damaged. It was a nice surprise that the relocation was finished faster than anticipated.
At every step of the moving process, they answered our questions, put our minds at ease, and kept us apprised of what was happening.

The movers handled everything quickly and efficiently, even with the small, awkward items. They helped me get everything into the right rooms, and it didn’t take as long as I thought it would. Very happy with how smooth it went!
I had a bunch of seasonal decorations in a shed near the woods, and they had to be moved to a cleared spot closer to the house for sorting. The movers pulled the large boxes out carefully so branches wouldn’t snag them. They placed each group where I pointed and didn’t crowd the space.
