Joseph replied immediately, even though we were behind schedule with our request. They were prompt with delivery and set things up for us. The safe and prompt delivery of our beautiful marble tulip table and chairs from NJ to AZ has satisfied us. We would definitely use them again because of the great service and staff.
Right after signing the contract we were funneled off to subcontractors. One in New York and another for delivery in North Carolina. The subcontractors who did the pick up swindled my son out of an additional $363.75 saying more than our 300 cubic feet was used because they couldn't stack boxes on top of furniture. However, when the moving truck arrived in North Carolina, all of the boxes were stacked on furniture in the back of the truck. Second, we paid for packing and unpacking but the guy who delivered was by himself and said he didn't have time to unpack anything. Therefore, we are owed 1/2 of the $300 packing fee.
What a fantastic group of people! Their professionalism, care and speed were evident as they skillfully relocated our belongings to a third-floor apartment. To make sure they could meet us when we were ready, they checked in with us the day before our visit to see what time we were expecting to arrive. And they did! Almost a week before the event, I made my reservation.
The movers were professional and respectful of our belongings throughout the relocation. They kept the boxes organized and made sure the furniture was protected before transportation. The team worked steadily and efficiently during the day. Everything was unloaded carefully at the new house. Their attention to detail was appreciated.
These superheroes with packs saved the day! They efficiently packed up my entire apartment, including my enormous couch, and placed everything in a little box.
Swift Shift Van Lines was suggested to me, and they delivered as promised. The service I received from Michael from the first call through the estimate and moving day was outstanding. The week before, he made sure I was doing okay, which was reassuring. And on that potentially tense day, he and another person kept things lighthearted and even comical. They were cheerful, and the rain was of no concern to them. Much appreciation, everyone!
We moved at a faster pace than anticipated and made no compromises on quality. With all the boxes, the team was careful, and with the larger pieces of furniture, they used professional moving equipment. Communication was very good throughout. Great overall experience.
My son moved into his college dorm on the fourth floor with no elevator. The movers carried all 10 boxes, set up his bed, and made the process quick. I’d absolutely recommend them to any parent.
