I must tell you that these guys are freaking incredible for any shifting. I had tons of loads to relocate, the time was too short, and even the thought of packing and moving in a week was daunting to me. My daughter had several large canvases from her art school. The movers placed cardboard between them and kept them upright. Watching her hang them in her new room without damage made both of us very happy.
They worked faster than I expected while still paying close attention to detail. From carefully stowing each item away to taking doors off their hinges as needed, their expertise shone through in every detail.
The boxes full of printed materials, racks, and folding equipment needed to be moved out of a temporary convention center. I didn’t expect the crew to be that prepared, but they were already sorting items the second they walked in. We were out faster than planned, and the equipment was ready to use again.
Our big dresser was really heavy and hard to move, but these movers had a clever trick. They put these things under it that made it slide easily across the floor without leaving any scratches on our beautiful new hardwood.
When it rained quite hard, the movers went to work to make sure our hardwood floors were taken care of! They installed protective runners in the hallways and put shoe covers on to prevent mud from being tracked in the hallways.
While taking my dresser down the stairs, he dropped it, chipping the corner and causing extensive damage. “It happens sometimes,” he shrugged, without acknowledging the damage or offering to repair it. The move was difficult because it was obvios that they lacked the necessary training and expertise. I would never again use such inexperienced movers.
