The team made it simple for us to depart our ranch home. The team executed flawless packing of the truck as they carefully wrapped all pieces of wooden furniture with the precision of skilled Tetris players.
I had a good experience with the movers. They were very helpful, hard working and cared for our furniture. Communications leading up to the move was clear, but I would have liked to have had a more specific arrival time. No major problems with delivery.
Swift Shift Van Lines handled our cross-state move with zero issues. They arrived right on time, had tools ready for disassembly, and moved everything with care. We had a large sectional, two TVs, and a wobbly bookshelf I was nervous about. They wrapped it all up and kept it steady in the truck. The best part was how calm and organized they stayed the whole time.
Moving from a little two-bedroom flat wasn’t difficult. The movers were punctual for both the delivery and the pick-up. In few hours, they wrapped and cushioned our furniture and loaded the vehicle. We observed their meticulous handling of our belongings and how they went through several doors to reach the car while we were there. The relocation coordinator, Christopher, always answered our questions with patience and promptness.
Despite providing an accurate listing of all our box numbers and furniture, Swift Shift Van Lines tried charging us nearly double the original estimated price, even though our original and moving day inventories were almost identical. We were disappointed by their inaccurate cost estimation, which caused twice as much financial stress on moving day. Regarding their delivery process, we received inconsistent information from different representatives at Swift Shift Van Lines: 1) In the initial phone call, we were told that the average delivery time is 3-5 days after pickup. 2) On the moving day, the mover said delivery could occur in 3 days. 3) One day after pickup, another representative said delivery would occur in 1-5 business days. 4) In the last email communication, another representative informed us that delivery would take 5-15 business days. As of today, it is Day 5 after the pickup, and we still have no information regarding the delivery. If you don't want to experience difficult times in an empty apartment without your belongings, do NOT work with Swift Shift Van Lines.
Check them out if you want a team that is actually honest and hardworking. They didn't try to stretch out the time, and they were very efficient with every minute.
I had a home office full of electronics that I didn’t want damaged. The movers labeled each box clearly, wrapped the monitors carefully, and reconnected the desk setup exactly how I needed.
I felt very comfortable having these movers in my home. David and the other guys were polite, and they worked very fast without being messy. Everything went according to plan.
