Living in a busy downtown area makes parking a huge truck almost impossible. Somehow, the driver found a spot and worked quickly to avoid blocking the bus lane. My heavy mahogany wardrobe made it inside without touching a single doorframe. The guys were incredibly helpful and handled the stuff with care. I felt lucky to have such an experienced team helping me out on a hectic Saturday morning. They were able to transfer the things on the same afternoon safely.
This moving company exceeded all my expectations. The team was efficient and handled all my belongings with the utmost care. They were also very friendly and had a great sense of humor, which made the whole moving process much more enjoyable. They offered to help me unpack some of the boxes at my new place, which was a huge help.
I was lied to from the beginning by Nicole Jones. I specifically asked if they were brokers, I was assured they have their own movers and trucks. MAP movers showed up. Neither moving men spoke English, one could barely see so I had to fill out my own billing paperwork having no idea what I was doing. They arrived at 530 pm and didn't finish until after midnight. All kinds of extra charges amounting to several thousand dollars over my initial bill. Jordan at swift shift was dismissive of me during a call to update my items to be moved. He never officially updated my list so the movers charged me extra for everything Jordan failed to add to my list. I can not get a delivery date from anyone. So I have no idea when my things will be arriving. I have emailed repeatedly with no response. Just a mess. Moving cross country is already stressful, but I couldn't have chosen a worse moving company to deal with.
We had a few antique items that required special handling, and we appreciated how seriously they took the job. They wrapped each piece in layers, double-checked their placement in the truck, and delivered them in great shape to our studio apartment. We couldn’t have asked for more!
It was a real pleasure to spend time with people who were so kind and helpful. My grandfather's antiques were carefully packed and sent quickly, which said a lot. Also, their service was great.
If you're considering relocation, I recommend this firm. Their trained movers handle every kind of move. I was concerned about my furniture, but they reassured me. I was amazed at how easily they disassembled everything and carefully wrapped it, including the support pieces. They reassembled everything in perfect shape. Well done!
Carrying heavy appliances like refrigerators and washers isn’t easy, but these movers did it with no problem. They had the right tools, lifted carefully, and made sure there was no damage to floors or walls.
I had to move storage boxes and old furniture from my garage to a storage unit. The movers worked steadily and stacked the unit so I can reach what I need later.
