We called these guys for help with our move. The team did their job carefully and finished everything on time. Boxes were put where they belonged, and it made unpacking much easier for us later.
Swift Shift Van Lines saved the day during our last-minute relocation to the countryside. When our original movers canceled, they stepped in immediately. Their team packed, loaded, and delivered everything within 4 days. Nothing was damaged upon arrival. We couldn’t have asked for more!
Carrying heavy appliances like refrigerators and washers isn’t easy, but these movers did it with no problem. They had the right tools, lifted carefully, and made sure there was no damage to floors or walls.
I was thrilled with Swift Shift Van Lines for my move. Steven, Andrew, and Jack came in and got straight to work, packing up all my belongings, including my oddly shaped recliner and king-sized bed. They also used dollies to move them without any hassle. They were also upfront about their pricing and didn’t charge me any extra for stairs or distance.
Mixed feelings. The SSV are brokers. We were quoted a price. the moving company they hired were rated 1 star and demanded more money than quoted and refused to deliver some pieces of furniture. The delivery dates quoted by SSV were 5-10 days. The movers they hired stated 7-10 business days the actually delivery time was 16 business days. The boxes were not securely stored as when they were delivered some boxes were torn, massive holes where items were spilling out, a gross liquid spilled over 5. The men packing up and delivering were different. The delivery people were nice, quick and didn't try to scam more money out of us like the pick up crew did. I feel betrayed about all moving companies from this experience. Good luck to everyone who uses this company and I suggest finding out who they hire as movers before signing so you do not get a low rate mover through this broker.
These movers really eased the emotional burden of moving my kid into his dorm. They helped him set up his small refrigerator and workstation. What a brilliant group!
My couch was easily hauled down three flights of stairs by the movers. It didn’t have one scratch They made my work easier and less stressful.
They worked faster than I expected while still paying close attention to detail. From carefully stowing each item away to taking doors off their hinges as needed, their expertise shone through in every detail.

I was lied to from the beginning by Nicole Jones. I specifically asked if they were brokers, I was assured they have their own movers and trucks. MAP movers showed up. Neither moving men spoke English, one could barely see so I had to fill out my own billing paperwork having no idea what I was doing. They arrived at 530 pm and didn't finish until after midnight. All kinds of extra charges amounting to several thousand dollars over my initial bill. Jordan at swift shift was dismissive of me during a call to update my items to be moved. He never officially updated my list so the movers charged me extra for everything Jordan failed to add to my list. I can not get a delivery date from anyone. So I have no idea when my things will be arriving. I have emailed repeatedly with no response. Just a mess. Moving cross country is already stressful, but I couldn't have chosen a worse moving company to deal with.
