I contacted Swift Shift Van Lines for a same-day move of my studio apartment. The guys showed up fast, packed my bed, TV, and kitchen stuff, and were done before evening. Nothing broke, and the timing was perfect.
Terrible. This is NOT a moving company, this is a broker. They are NOT up front about that. Save yourself the time, money, and effort and hire a moving company DIRECTLY, not through these scam artists.
This move was for a home library. Floor-to-ceiling bookcases and hundreds of books. The movers removed shelves and stacked books flat. They grouped the series together without me asking. Shelves were wrapped and labeled. At delivery, everything went back up in the same order. I did not have to sort titles again. That saved me days of work.
My roommate and I decided to part ways, and we both hired Swift Shift Van Lines to move our separate stuff. The band of movers was really adept at splitting our furniture and boxes based on color-coded stickers we’d prepared. They didn’t mix up anything, which was a huge relief. They helped me fold my futon when I couldn’t figure out how to collapse it. The entire process was quick, efficient, and surprisingly enjoyable. Well worth every dollar.
These guys really helped me out with my move. They got all the boxes moved in pretty quickly and were easy to deal with the whole morning. Would definitely recommend their service.
